MTOMCO, We are very sorry to hear that your recent service experience with us wasn't exceptional. Please accept our sincerest apologies that we were not available to you the moment you arrived. That definitely is not the type of experience we want any of our customers to have. We appreciate you letting us know and we will look into what went wrong on the day and time you were here. As for your service, I've looked into your particular case and found that while you came in for a standard Flex A service, you also stated that your blind spot assist was not functioning. Whenever there is an unknown issue that needs attention, the vehicle will go to a Diagnostic Technician first. All vehicles are seen by a Diagnostic Tech in the order of their arrival. While we found that your blind spot assist was only turned off and all that was needed was to turn it on, we still needed to test drive to be assured it was functioning properly for you. After determining that it was indeed working, the vehicle was prepped for the Flex A service--again occurring in the order of its arrival to our Express Team. While this can take time, we were glad you were enjoying the comfort of one of our first-class loaner vehicles during the absence of your own car. We were thrilled to have been able to provide you with Mercedes-Benz certified service as well as easily remedy your blind spot issue. We do hope you will service with us again so that we can give you a better experience from start to finish!

Afrite, we apologize for the inconvenience of having to wait for service. We completely understand your frustration over the unavailability of a loaner until the next week. While we earnestly try to accommodate the request for a loaner for every service customer, we just don’t have enough loaners to give every service customer, every day. Please understand, a warranty on a vehicle only applies to coverage of service. Unfortunately, it does not mean a guaranteed loaner. Loaners are based on availability. In order to accommodate a request for a loaner, we do our best to work in a service date that will enable us to fulfill that request. Sometimes that pushes the service into the next week. Our service agents are great at being able to explain the urgency of the various service lights based on what has appeared for the customer. For check lights that are urgent, we notify the customer and do our best to get that vehicle in for service immediately, regardless of the availability of a loaner. We hope you understand as we do value you as a member of our Jackie Cooper family and wish to exceed your expectations at every service visit.
