We originally tried to purchase a Hyundai Sonata from the Ferguson Superstore for my son. He is currently an active duty Navy Corpsman and arrived at the dealership with a check from Navy Federal Credit Unio Ferguson Superstore for my son. He is currently an active duty Navy Corpsman and arrived at the dealership with a check from Navy Federal Credit Union. The check was for $500 less than the asking price so we assumed negotiation wouldn't be a problem. The dealer declined the offer and countered with the full purchase price at an interest rate of 21 percent! They already knew he was approved for an interest rate of 9 percent through NFCU. They tried to scam him for an interest rate that was more than double what he already had. After we refused, they continued to push the scam!! We then proceeded to Jackie Cooper Infiniti and purchased a used 2014 Chevy Malibu. There were no games and no nonsense while we were there. The waiting area was very comfortable and the coffee was good. Several people thanked my son for his service-the little things matter. We had a great experience!
