I found Jack Schmitt in Collinsville had one in stock when I checked out their web site and we went to take a look. I was greeted by Chris Wheeler and he did a superb job of presenting the vehicle to us. Chris is very knowledgeable and professional and provided over the top customer service during our visit. I appreciate the fact that Chris did not pressure us and gave us the time and information we needed to make our decision. We decided to go with the car and Chris again did a great job preparing the paperwork and explaining the process. You can tell when someone has genuine integrity and I am comfortable that Chris gave us a great deal with a price well below what I had expected to pay. Jaime the finance specialist got our car financing taken care of in short order and we were on our way home in our new vehicle in a little under 3 hours from the time we first drove up on the lot. I was very pleasantly surprised at how efficient and fast the process was! There were a couple concerns we had raised with Chris while inspecting the vehicle and Chris came over to my workplace a few days later and picked up my vehicle and returned it later that day with everything resolved. I have never experienced this level of over the top customer service excellence at any time when buying a used car prior to visiting Jack Schmitt and dealing with Chris. I was treated like a VIP throughout the sale as if I was buying the most expensive car on the lot and that was not the case with other dealerships I visited. I would come back again and again!!!! My mom and I had been looking for a used car for my brother after we sold his car. We had been looking and talking to many different dealerships who My mom and I had been looking for a used car for my brother after we sold his car. We had been looking and talking to many different dealerships who were unwilling to work with us or budge even a dollar on price. My brother wanted all the bells and whistles on a poor man's budget, while my mom was more concerned with getting him a good vehicle with low miles. That proved to be quite the challenge. We could find a good car with all the bells and whistles at a high price and high miles or a roller skate looking tiny car with low miles and that came a dime a dozen. We almost bought at another dealer on a Saturday at closing time, but it didn't quite feel right and we would have paid a premium. I found the exact same car and color at Jack Schmitt when I searched on autotrader, they were about 45 miles from where we lived. It was the only car other than the one that came in that matched and it was lower in miles and in better condition. I sent an email Saturday after close and knew I wouldn't hear back until Monday, however I stated exactly where we were at and where we needed to be and said if they could make it happen we would buy on Monday, which we did!!! Jack Schmitt's General Manager responded with a great email letting us know anything and everything about their dealership and that they wanted us as a customer. Chris Wheeler our salesman also followed up with a greeting call and to let us know he would find out about our request and then called back and let us know that they could make it happen. Jade with internet sales also texted me and had a lot of great follow-up. We went there that afternoon to preview the car, take it for a test drive, and put a down payment on the car to save it until my brother could come back and check it out for himself. We were back that evening, he loved it and it was such a quick and easy process, no hassle, everyone was friendly and accommodating. It made for a very enjoyable experience and Chris even walked my brother through some of the features. Jaime in the finance department was a lot of fun and was extremely informative throughout the process. Needless to say it was easily one of the best car shopping experiences we have ever had!!! More
