UPDATE: After my review below, we were immediately contacted by Alyass to give us reassurance that they were working to resolve the issue. The following day we were contacted by Mike- Sales Manager informed us they found us two trucks for us to pick. once we picked it, the confirmed shipment and it arrived today. I would like to Thank Mike and Alyass for their immediate action to make sure we were happy customers and Mike being especially patient with me as I admit I was assertive to what we wanted. More

First it started off with making contact with Alyass via internet, coming into a verbal agreement for trade and purchasing a Power Wagon. We are an hour into our 2 hour trip to seal the deal, the truck is sold. Understandably, can’t make holds. However we were told a similar power wagon with “more perks” is available in Orange County and were told they would honor the agreement and would try to get the truck that evening. Went to dealer, no truck, but proceeded to buy a truck we haven’t physically seen, signed the documentation/contract and was told the truck will be delivered on Monday no later than Tuesday. Comes Monday, received a call the truck was sold after we have bought it. The dealer/ Sales Manager- Mike has yet to send us the paperwork we signed and kept our registration from our trade. Sales Manager is giving us the run around, unable to tell us when we are getting the truck and they’re in “talks” with the dealers in Nevada. Oh funny thing, they are paying a driver to drive the truck 350 miles, plus another 200 miles to deliver where we live. So putting 500+ miles into a truck for price of a brand new truck. All because they don’t want to spend too much money on transport, their screw up and take any responsibility. How are we supposed to be understanding? They got more than one star for friendless because of Susanna their customer relations manager who was so sweet and thoughtful to our 3 year old son. More
Selling defective LEMONS, withholding reimbursements, failure to conduct business legally; take your pic, they're guilty of all of it. I drove to Escondido from Los Angeles to buy my 2019 Grand Cherokee failure to conduct business legally; take your pic, they're guilty of all of it. I drove to Escondido from Los Angeles to buy my 2019 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk from Jack Powell. With only 53mi on the odometer, the front turn signal was not working at the time. They told me they were going to fix and replace the bulb while I filled out the paperwork. After signing and taking delivery, I noticed that the light had not been fixed. Doug brushed it off, and told me to just take it to any dealership and they could do it there. Come to find out, Jack Powell never even looked at the light (there's a plastic cover that would have shown had it been moved to inspect the light). Not to mention, the light assembly had to be replaced all together. After a week in the shop getting the light replaced, I had to return the car to the shop a couple weeks later for an issue with the Navigation System. A couple weeks after that, I had to take the car back for the memory seats that had stopped working, in addition to the navigation system still not working and the whole computer system in the car starting to act funny. For over a month, they still tried to work on it. At that point, I had the car submitted for and FCA agreeing to finally take back their death trap and lemon the car. This process took months. I bought the GC in March, FCA did not re-take possession of the Lemon until July. Now, that may not be particularly Jack Powell's fault, but they did sell the car that had obvious defects and they made sure to just push it out the door, making it seem like it wasn't an issue. What Jack Powell did do, or I should say DID NOT DO, was follow through with the reimbursement for the add-ons that you, the buyer, is responsible for following through with. I added on an extended warranty and the SWAT Protection (like Lo-Jack). While I was going through the process of lemoning the car, I was forced to pay off the SWAT and Extended Warranty myself, being promised that I would be fully reimbursed for them, I just had to go through the dealership for them to handle the cancellation and filing. I filed with Michael in finance at Jack Powell the day I surrendered the car, 8July2019. Today is 11NOV2019. Michael and Jack Powell have not followed through with anything, therefore keeping the $4695 total that I am due in return. Better yet, they are now playing the run-around game, where "its not our responsibility to cancel or seek reimbursement." months after agreeing that it was. SWAT told me I had to go through the dealership to cancel and refund. FCA (Fiat Chrysler America) told me I had to go through the dealership. So, Jack Powell just hoped that I wouldn't pay attention and they could just keep my reimbursement money. So shady. NEVER BUY A CAR FROM HERE! NEVER BUY A JEEP, DODGE, CHRYSLER OR FIAT in general, but most definitely, DO NOT BUY FROM JACK POWELL. You have better odds playing Russian Roulette, and at least your death there may be quicker that whatever accident the car you buy may cause and inevitably kill you in. More

Jason was very helpful and got me a deal for 399/ month for 60 months at 5.74 APR. then when we finalized the paperwork it Fernando got it for 3.74%. So i was happy but i had an issue with my address so when i came back Jason wasnt there and fernando only had the paperwork for 5.74% at 66 months. I shouldve stopped it right there cause it shouldve been for 3.74% at 60 months for about a 390$ / month car note which i needed. Now im paying an extra 40$/ month so im a little pissed but i needed a car and was in a hurry. Then they got it washed and detailed but i looked inside the sides of the seats a few days later and looks like they didnt even touch it, just enough to make it look nice. So check and be thorough with everything. Probably goes for other dealers as well but i wouldve walked if i had know this was gonna happen. More

Guess what? If I want the paint work done I have to rent a car..,for 5 or 6 days. and the light on the mirror that I didn’t notice was broken (bought it at night) and of. Purse they won’t fix that. Here’s the best part,,,the trailer brake controller doesn’t work correctly and service writer tells me they don’t have the tools to test it,,, really? So go ahead and pull your trailer with faulty brakes. Long story short, I’m having the recall done while I wait, ill have my local paint shop touch up the paint and I’ll go to another dealer to have the brake controller fixed..,and I will not buy anything else here or will I recommend them, More

By far the most unprofessional and unethical group I've ever dealt with. Lied about pricing, lied about available discounts, lied about "new" laws that don't exist and then tried to lie about the lies they told. Tried to add additional costs into the contract, but got caught. Blatantly try to target service members by using their former military service to be "buddy-buddy" with you. Refuse to return calls, emails, voicemails, texts or even Facebook messages to resolve issues with their customers. Still haven't fulfilled their end of the contract...they had my truck for OVER three months AFTER I purchased it and STILL haven't fixed the damage to the front bumper that I pointed out to them the day I bought it. Absolutely the worst dealership ever! Please, for the love of God, avoid Jack Powell at all costs...all they specialize in is completely screwing over good people and taking their hard earned money out of their pockets. More
Most unprofessional and unethical team. I took a test drive, zero'ed on the model I want, for the price I was comfortable. we agreed on the model/price post which they took all my financial I took a test drive, zero'ed on the model I want, for the price I was comfortable. we agreed on the model/price post which they took all my financial information (SSN, outstanding mortgage, how much I earn etc). They took the car for prep work (/detailing) and made me wait for 2 hours. Now after whole 3 hours of deal-making, they realized that they could not honor the price we agreed upon before. Brian (I guess the manager of this unprofessional team) came to me and said in an adamant tone, it was a SMALL MISTAKE from their end and they will not sell the car for the price they agreed. And guess what, they even shred my paperwork even before asking me (I seriously fear about my SSN information) More

Gave us a lecture regarding our credit in the middle of their sales lounge. Fernando tried to add $2700 to our bottom line price with no explanation. When questioned about the additional money he walked away from us. Manager called as he noted there was a situation but has not returned our call to remedy the situation. Hope this hasn't happened to too many people who don't pay attention to the bottom line of the financing amount. More

Explained to the sales associate I would not be buying for a week to my house refinancing went through. I told him I would return the following Saturday and talk price , not wanting to waist his time. I'm in sales myself. With 35years of experience. I get it. He had no truck knowledge at all. But was pleasant. Couldn't answer any of my questions. The next week I was hounded by 1-2 phone calls a day. After the third day i was agitated. Asked them not to call any longer. Day 5 , Patrick called. Said was the fleet manager. Said he had a offer I couldn't resist. After telling him I was tired being of the calls. He abruptly hung up on me. I called him back, would not answer the phone or return my calls. How he became a sales manager is beyond me. I returned the next Saturday giving them the another chance. Because they were the were the only dealer that had the truck I wanted. Talking to a another sales associate, he was a nice guy, but also had no truck experience. After the test drive,I said lets do it. Paying with cash , I still had to go through a exausting credit application process which was unnecessary. Negotiations went fairly fast. We made a offer, basically told were out of our minds. Made a second offer, said that was at there cost. Said they could not sell the truck for that. They just sat there looking at us . Wouldn't give us any indication of what we could buy the truck for . So I thanked them for there time and we left with no truck. The funny thing is the price they said they couldn't do, was there advertised price on the web site. huh!! I must be a idiot. Returning to another dealership we visited the first Saturday, we were welcomed back buy a young sales associate very well informed on ram trucks. With in 30 minutes we were in the sales office and had negotiated a fair deal. Although it was not the same truck, it was close enough. NO hassles. On my way home with my new truck, I received a call from Jack Powell saying they would except my offer. I don't know about you but that's B.S!! I had already driven 60 miles, you expect me to come back! if they would be a little more considerate of there customers, they would of had another sale that day. Obviously the day wasn't as prosperous as anticipated it would be !! More
