Recently purchased 2018 Chevy Tahoe . After purchased I’ve noticed an intermittent knocking noise while driving . Brought it in service twice for inspection and unable to find source of n After purchased I’ve noticed an intermittent knocking noise while driving . Brought it in service twice for inspection and unable to find source of noise . It reoccur as soon as I returned home . Had independent drive and inspect . Quickly confirmed internal engine concern . Noise occurs every time , hot or cold , any speed . on light accel only when engine is operating in V4 mode and stops on heavier accel or V8 mode . Also retrieved code P06dd for an engine oil pressure control solenoid valve performance which shows system failed “AFTER” code was cleared , that’s very shady there !!! Called service and sales today and being told as is . Understandable. But why sell a vehicle that needs approx $4000 engine repairs . Would have definitely been found if technician had taken a 15 minute test drive . Buyers Beware !!!!!!! More
