On April 12, 2022, I bought a pair of disc rotor part #22968231 that was already "discontinued" at Jack Phelan The salesperson Mr. Casey Janociak, on that date ask the person who assisted me if there was #22968231 that was already "discontinued" at Jack Phelan The salesperson Mr. Casey Janociak, on that date ask the person who assisted me if there was a warranty, and Mr. Casey said yes! It was on the box there is a sticker on it 2 years warranty, but last year in October I felt the vibration on the brake pedal when I pressed it but it was too cold so I decided to wait for good weather but is winter season. this March 16, 2024, that Saturday, I call the parts dept. someone answered the phone and I stated the problem regarding the rotor I purchased and still have a warranty what is the procedure for that issue, you can take it off and bring it here I said and he said I will call you back today, or if not by Monday because is weekend Ok! Last Monday I didn't receive a callback so I decided to call them to claim for warranty, someone answered the phone and I stated the issue on the rotor he declined the warranty only the defects were accepted I stated my side that you would determine the defect when you used it, that why GMC put 2 year warranty for the end user/ customers satisfaction. and the person on the phone started yelling at me and banging the phone. So before that I called 2 GMpartsdirect that I saw on the Google website one in South Carolina and Missouri I called them to clarify the warranty, and they said that as long as OEM/GM parts and within the 2-year warranty we provided replacement if bought from us. They gave me the suggestion that go to other dealers maybe they would help you with the issue because it is a GM OEM part that was covered by warranty but he declined the warranty Tuesday, March 19, I went to the Dealer part dept. to claim the warranty and look for the guy I spoke with last Monday to talked the issue with the warranty and inform him that is not professional way or customer-oriented. I told him be professional and polite. ok! I call you tomorrow I need to research about the warranty after our discussion I call the GMC to raise the issue and I spoke with Mr. Eren to tell him everything about the issue on warranty and so on, but he also never solved the issue instead he goes to the side of the parts manager of Jack Phelan declined it and he suggests to me to go Mike Haggerty that is a direct dealer of GMC parts maybe they can help you and give goodwill or replace it with another part that is the same price or a lesser price because that part number is already discontinued and Jack Phelan is Third Party Dealer so we no control to that dealer but I told him that is a product or Original parts of GM so you to solve the issue but, I didn't receive feedback or an answer I decided to Mr. Gleason this Wednesday, March 20, but Mr. Dan Gleason, I send you a message but I don't receive a message from you, the same thing he declined it according to him, that is worn and tear so there is no warranty. This is the second frustration for Chevrolet Dealer First in Villa Park and now Jack Phelan I advised, to all people who buy parts or anything in those I mentioned Chevy Dealer be more careful when buying parts and ask for details especially warranty as much as possible do a written detailing the warranty so in the later on if you have an issue you have a written..
