A true passion for cars, customers, and family. Lexington native Jack Kain knew long before purchasing his first dealership that he would spend his life working in the automotive industry. The son of a dairy farmer, Jack learned the true meaning of a "hard day's work" at a very young age, and although he appreciated and respected his father's line of work, he knew that it wasn't for him.
While attending the University of Kentucky in 1947, Jack sold cars part time. It came to him easily, as his customers picked up on his honest approach and genuine concern for their satisfaction. Those qualities would soon define Jack's reputation in his community, and after spending several years stationed in Alaska during the Korean War, Jack returned home with high ambitions.

New truck purchase Purchased my first vehicle from Jack Kain Ford this afternoon. I had initiated contact online with LuAnn and she had responded quickly with a friendly Purchased my first vehicle from Jack Kain Ford this afternoon. I had initiated contact online with LuAnn and she had responded quickly with a friendly reminder/invitation. I set up a time to visit the dealership. When I arrived, LuAnn had arranged for Bill to show me the vehicle I was interested in. the presentation was very professional, friendly, and thorough. From there, we proceeded through the financial details with clear explanation all along the way. From LuAnn, to Bill, to Mark (finance), to Trevor (Quick Line Service) to several other folks sitting around the dealership, all I can say is it was friendly and smooth!!! It was like talking to people I had known all my life. More

From when we stepped on the lot and were met by Steve, until we left later with a new car, it was an amazing experience. Everyone we met, especially Steve Jeffers, Bill Kain, and Mark Morford (and Shelby the cat) made us feel like our business was really appreciated. The entire process was incredibly easy. My husband and I went to just look, but ended up leaving with a new car. There was never any pressure, just nice people. We will definitely come back when we need to replace our truck, and will recommend to our friends. More
