I recently purchased a 2022 Honda Civic from Jack Hanania Chevrolet, and I would recommend staying away from this dealership. I worked with a salesman named Josh. He was dishonest with me several times, which I called out. They tack on a bunch of fees which made their asking price for the car 5 thousand dollars more than what it was listed for online. I told him he would not have my business unless he sold it to me for the originally listed price- and so we finally did work out a number which I agreed to. Instead of giving me a print out of the "out the door" price like he'd done before, he hand wrote it- which I found a bit odd, so I took a picture of it after he had stepped out of the room. I moved over to the finance room and spoke to Jimmy, who seems like a really nice fella, but beware. He told me what the monthly payment would be, which was much higher than I expected for the amount I was financing. I asked Jimmy why the payment was so high- and he told me this was because of the bumper to bumper warranty that was offered by the bank. I asked him if the warranty was optional. Jimmy said the warranty was not optional, that it lowered my interest rate, and that I had to wait 60 days to opt out. Jimmy also told me he would email me the copies of the paperwork, which he never did. I called to follow up several times but was continuously sent to voicemail. So instead I called the bank which I financed the car through. They had the paperwork on file, and they read the warranty information to me over the phone. They told me that the warranty added an additional 3 thousand dollars to my loan, the warranty was not offered by them, and that it was a different company, and that the warranty did not give me a lower interest rate, and was not required. They told me there was no requirement to wait 60 days before I could opt out of the warranty either. I was lied to by Jimmy, he wanted to sell me this warranty, and he didn't want me to know the truth about it- likely because it's money in his pocket. The out the door price Josh quoted me was less than I ended up paying, and the amount I now owe for this car is thousands more than what I was told I would be financing by both Josh and Jimmy. That is called misrepresentation. I will file with the BBB due to this incident, and I will never purchase from this dealership again. This dealer is going to try and trick you into paying substantially more than the car is worth however they can. Buyers beware. More

Bait and Switch, I was pre-approved and when I showed up they only offered 1 vehicle. On the test drive the vehicle overheated. I checked back the next day and was told that a part was being replaced. I the they only offered 1 vehicle. On the test drive the vehicle overheated. I then asked if they could swap to one of the other vehicles I was interested in and was told that the bank withdrew financing. Basically if I didn't want the car they wanted to sell me I get nothing. That same day I contacted another dealership so I didn't waste money canceling the insurance policy and ended up with a much better vehicle and deal. Disgusting way to do business, not recommended!!! More

Hello, doubt this will wind up anywhere but that's ok, I am filing an Attorney Generals report and building an independent website (retired tech guy) to establish a Consumer Warning about all of the Hanania am filing an Attorney Generals report and building an independent website (retired tech guy) to establish a Consumer Warning about all of the Hanania Dealerships. After charging almost 3k to rework the front of my 2002 Camaro the poor beast was never the same. The alignment never held (other dealership confirmed), along with multiple metal grinding noises from the poor workmanship. Their service department actually complained about my demands for fully completed work to that dealership as if it should be unexpected! Far worse, the little Hanania (son) is more than a spoiled brat and the others who posted about the lack of integrity were right but didn't express it legally. What Jack very jr. did was "negotiating in bad faith" according to FL law. I have an offer in writing for 7k for the car with no conditions or time limitations which I accepted immediately (literally within minutes as emails can prove). That constitutes offer made & accepted, unfortunately it took me a few weeks (& 6 calls) to get Ally to release the loan paperwork, I kept him and his Sales Manager updated on the challenge & they never said a word about any issues. When I finally went in they offered me 4.5k with a bunch of excuses. When I called him out and said I had the whole thing in writing demanding he honor it under Fl he told me "to leave his parking lot". Worse then he ran off like a scared 9 year old and actually hid behind his Sales Manger who is twice his size, most of us who lift are. Pathetic, really pathetic!! So, you cannot trust this team from the top down - EVEN IF YOU GET ANYTHING IN WRITING. I reached to the senior Jack and got no response. STAY AWAY! More
