Avoid This Dealership – Unreliable Vehicles & Poor Customer Service I’m writing this review in the hopes that someone at this dealership will finally take accountability and resolve this situation Customer Service I’m writing this review in the hopes that someone at this dealership will finally take accountability and resolve this situation before I’m forced to pursue legal action for lost wages and distress. I purchased a used Ford F-150 from this dealership on February 8, 2025. Within just three weeks, the transmission completely failed. Since the dealership wouldn't service a Ford, we followed instructions and brought it to a Ford service center. Their inspection confirmed a full transmission replacement was needed. I was also given no loaner vehicle from Chevrolet. At the time of purchase, I was sold a warranty promising up to $7,000 in coverage for repairs. However, the third-party warranty provider only approved $5,000, leaving me responsible for the remaining $2,273—including the deductible on a vehicle I just purchased. To make matters worse, Chevrolet still hasn't activated the warranty (it is now April), which has prevented Ford from receiving payment. As a result, they’re holding the truck, even though repairs have been completed for over a month. I’ve now made three payments on a vehicle I’ve had in my possession for less than 20 days. The lack of communication and accountability has been incredibly frustrating. Calls to the GM go unanswered, and the warranty representative, Joseph, continues to give vague and repetitive responses with no resolution. If you’re considering buying a vehicle here, think twice. The vehicle I was sold was clearly not in proper condition, and the dealership has shown no urgency in resolving a serious issue. Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere. More
Great customer service, excellent service department, and large inventory of vehicles. Dean Kincaid was amazing in helping me trade in my truck and get into a brand new truck. The process was smooth and ev large inventory of vehicles. Dean Kincaid was amazing in helping me trade in my truck and get into a brand new truck. The process was smooth and everything was great. Will definitely recommend Dean to all of my friends shopping for a new Chevy. More
I had an incredibly disappointing experience with this dealership, and I feel obligated to share my story to warn others. I purchased a truck for my mom on 01/11/2025 and was verbally assured that they dealership, and I feel obligated to share my story to warn others. I purchased a truck for my mom on 01/11/2025 and was verbally assured that they would replace both headlights and the third brake light (3rd brake light broken, headlights both had extreme condensation and held water when rained upon causing very poor visibility and non working functions)even after I asked for this commitment to be documented on the "I Owe You" form. I was told there was no need to write it down since they weren’t adding aftermarket parts, which I foolishly trusted. After several text msgs and calls to the salesman Zach I was scheduled a service appointment for 01/22/2025 at 8:45 AM, traveling 40 miles from Jacksonville to the dealership. Upon arriving, I was informed by Christine in the service department that I did not have an appointment. She then called Zach over and added that the manager had decided against making the repairs because it would cost $4,000. The kicker? No one had bothered to call me and let me know about this sudden change. While standing there trying to figure out how to inform my mother about this I was given two options: return the truck or keep it as is. Returning it wasn’t an option for me because I had already invested in repairs after taking the truck to a certified shop the Monday after purchase. The mechanic found that the vehicle, which the dealership claimed had “gone through the shop,” required significant work: New shocks and struts End links Rear rotors and pads Inner tie rods And to top it off, I had to get an oil change the next morning because they sold me the truck with 0% oil life and only about 5 quarts of oil came out of an 8.5-quart engine. So again, giving the truck back was not an option because i know i was not going to get the money i already started investing back. While leaving the dealership, I was stopped by the salesman, who informed me that the manager Dan said "he will try to get it covered under warranty" by the end of the day. I followed up every day via text and was repeatedly told, “We’ll let you know by the end of the day.” No one ever followed through. At this point i am stalling with my mom on delivering her truck because she lives in Sunrise, FL. I call again frustrated and spoke with Dan, he then stated that he is trying to go aftermarket route, at this point i told him i didn't care if he made it in his garage i just need it, i even gave him an alley-oop by telling him the dealership does not have to do the install i'll do it. He got excited and assured me AGAIN that he will have it and the salesman will follow up by EOD. My mother just made her first payment to a truck she hasn't seen or driven yet because of the safety issues of poor/no lighting and no turn signal. Today is 02/19/2025 no one has returned my calls. I even gave another option, refund my $3000 down via check for pick up and i will go buy all the necessary parts needed and forget the entire disgusting process. NO RESPONSE This dealership sold me a vehicle in poor condition, blatantly lied about the repairs, and completely failed in their customer service. They wasted my time and money while showing zero accountability. If you’re considering buying a vehicle here, think twice. More
We went in to look at one vehicle that didn't work out but, Simo our sales rep was very flexible in placing all the potential options in front of us. If only there was a way to give these money stealing, blood boiling, scoundrels 0 stars believe me I would. Not even a month into ownership of this vehicle the AC stopped working and all they had to say blood boiling, scoundrels 0 stars believe me I would. Not even a month into ownership of this vehicle the AC stopped working and all they had to say was "as is". it's not their problem. $1600 dollars later and now the transmission is going bad After finding out it's $6000 and very common in this truck as it's a Chevy Colorado and informing them of such they refuse to answer my calls and are practically leaving me stranded after spending loads of money on this vehicle not even 5 months ago and that they portrayed as a reliable in good condition truck that was fully inspected by there service department but Yet to find out it's a lemon that they had to sell to someone like me and to be screwed over and left in the dirt with no way to contact them. I am at a loss for words how they can sleep at night knowing someone out there like me and who knows how many other people are driving around with a vehicle they sold us that's falling apart ,moments away from leaving me stranded at any giving point and lying to my face and acting as if my calls are a joke. How could you even call yourself a business if you do that to your customers it seems to be unreal that they sold me this Truck for over 15,000.00 Dollars now I'm going to have to pay for a attorney I can't believe this company has been around for 30 years and couldn't sell me a truck that would last for 6 months. Second time purchasing through Hanania Chevrolet. The first experience was great and would have resulted in five stars. The second, and most recent (October 2024), was good up until we drove off the The first experience was great and would have resulted in five stars. The second, and most recent (October 2024), was good up until we drove off the lot with our brand new truck and the "We Owe You" in hand. It has been over a month now and every time we have called to ask where the steps and floormats are that come standard on our Trail Boss (and are listed on the window sticker) we get told that they "might have to just order them" for us since they aren't in. When I called to talk to the sales manager, Rick, he got very aggressive on the phone with me. He made false accusations against my husband, started raising his voice, wouldn't let me speak, and it got so bad I was practically yelling so he could hear me ask him to please let me finish my sentence. He refused and was so verbally aggressive and unrelenting that I ended up having to hang up on him. It is so sad that we came back to Hanania because of how wonderfully they treated me on my last purchase, and now we would never recommend them to anyone. Top it off, they owe us the items (plus installation) that we paid for in our deal (because these items come standard with the Trail Boss package), but we aren't sure they will honor their "We Owe You" at this point. So if they don't, we will have to pay over a thousand dollars elsewhere for the items plus installation that we have already paid for in the cost of the vehicle. If you do choose to give Hanania Chevrolet a try, we hope you have a better experience than we did. Just please be careful and try to avoid interacting with Rick, the sales manager, if you have any issues or questions. You don't want to get on his bad side! More
