Recall fixes resulted in car getting towed I took my Mazda Rx8 to have several recalls addressed. When my wife picked up the car, it would not start. Then, they realized it was out of gas. S I took my Mazda Rx8 to have several recalls addressed. When my wife picked up the car, it would not start. Then, they realized it was out of gas. So, they sent my wife to get gas. (NOTE: We were told to bring the car in with less than 1/4 tank as one of the recalls affected the gas tank). After waiting for 3 hours, they finally got the car running and sent my wife on her way. Less than a 1/2 mile down the road, the car stalled and would not start. We had to have it towed back to the dealership. For full disclosure, the engine light was on when we took it in, but they determined the cause as a sticking valve and nothing that needed fixed at this time. Things happen, but I thought the service department should have taken more responsibility for this issue and the cost of towing and fixing. We took a car in for recalls and while in the care of the garage the car stopped working. To send you home with a car that breaks down within a 1/2 mile, I would expect that the towing should be paid for at a minimum. We were given a discount on parts and labor, but I expected more. More

Looks like new! I was rear ended in my Sonata and had over $4500 damage. I took the car to Jack Giambalvo body shop and talked to Maurice. He explained everything and I was rear ended in my Sonata and had over $4500 damage. I took the car to Jack Giambalvo body shop and talked to Maurice.
