Horrible Communication & Sales! Strongly don't Recommend!! I drove 2 hours to see a specific vehicle I saw online. I was under a time crunch that day and specifically went to look at the cars visual condition as far as scratches dents dings etc. Bern happened to be the sales consultant that came outside and initially got me the key. I was very straight forward and alerted him that I didn't have much time, but I was going to be purchasing a truck as soon as I found the right one. I asked that he check the best price with his manager and get back to me and I never heard anything back. Unfortunate for them, but I am glad I found out how they treat their customers so I could move on. I gave it one more shot by doing a contact inquiring and still never heard from anyone. Must be nice to be in a position where you really don't need someone's business!! I certainly hope that's what it is and just not how they treat everyone. I could never confidently recommend this dealership or salesman. More

Awesome Staff I went to Jack Giambalvo on a very rainy Saturday and ask the salesman Bern Little to please skip the haggle and let's get to the bottom line! After my vehicle was appraised, we were able to settle on a price for the new/used vehicle. Because I live in Maryland I had to wait until Monday for the vehicle to be Maryland State inspected, which it was, and my wife, son and myself accepted delivery Monday evening, no issues!! I would recommend this dealership to anyone and am very glad I found the vehicle online at this location. JDH More
Beware - Do Not Use This Service Dept Customer satisfaction means nothing to the service dept. I though I was buying a better engineered vehicle in GMC but they are not worth it. Steer clear of the brand and steer clear of this dealership. They fired the last service manager and I'm assuming the next will go down in flames as well. More

But that didn’t matter to Bern (Bernard Little), he was ready and willing to assist us no matter what. We walked into GMC not knowing anything about the vehicles, service, offers, warranties, and company, but walked out of there full of knowledge and understanding thanks to Bern. He was a great salesman and took really good care of us. We ultimately decided not go with GMC, for reasons outside of Bern’s control, it was simply a vehicle decision for us. But Bern deserves high marks. More
I went to Jack Giambalvo today ONLY because we got an email advertising an End of Summer Selloff. It GUARANTEED trade-in values according to the year of the vehicle. Sounded good. I even called ahead to confirm that these trade in prices were accurate. After I got there I found out THEY WERE NOT. FALSE ADVERTISING for sure. What a waste of my time. My husband and I were looking for a reasonably priced mini van to accommodate our growing family when we came across Jack Giambalvo's website. We are a one income household on a budget, and we wanted to stay within it without feeling pressured to spend more. Because we are new to the York area, we were doubtful of finding a reputable dealership, but once we started working with Lance we knew we had come to the right place. Lance did ALL of the footwork for us and we found him to be friendly, straight forward and not assertive at all! He gave us time to talk together as a couple and did not rush the process. He was knowledgeable about the vehicle, educated about the warranty, and answered all of our questions without the typical run around you find in dealerships. Lance did exactly what he said he would, gave us the price we were asking, and sent us on our way. The General sales manager Joel was great as well. Again, he gave us the numbers we were looking for, and didn't try to pull the usual tricks you expect from a sales person.The environment in the dealership was clean, friendly and inviting, and there seemed to be a mutual respect among the sales team which was nice to see. Last but not least, as a woman I also found it refreshing to deal with a sales team who treated me with respect, and did not dismiss my opinions or questions because I was " a girl." All in all it was a fantastic buying experience, and we look forward to working with the sales team at Jack Giambalvo's in the near future. Thanks again Lance, you were a true professional! More
Let me preface this by saying I purchased my first vehicle from Jack Giambalvo almost 4 years ago and had a great experience, notice I say had. I bought my vehicle from them in February. We were lucky enough to be able to pay cash at the time. I bought my 62 year old father in law this vehicle a beautiful (So we thought) 04 Ford truck sitting proudly in the front row. My father in law was in love at first site and didn't want to test drive it. The sales manager tells us the checklist is done and we felt no need to check it over. We got it home that same night and my husband noted a larger than silver dollar sized hole in the body by the truck bed, I called immediately giving them the benefit of the doubt, at which time they said they would take care of it. 3 weeks went by with the run around on how to get it fixed and who was going to fix it. I had to speak to the VP who told me sometimes that is part of buying a used car and that is "Common in older vehicles" and was shocked the sales manager would have offered a fix. Finally the fix was provided for the hole (which was poor because they paint was already chipping) we took it to their body shop who had it for 4 days (without offering a loaner vehicle) and when we picked it up the job was terrible. My husband took it to the dealership and showed it to the sales manager, who arranged the whole thing and by the way told the body shop not to fix it properly, said it was fine. I am shocked that I would have to fine tooth comb a vehicle and there is no disclosure. These people that run, sell and manage this dealership are sneaky, don't trust a word they say!!!!!!! More

I bought a car from Bill Gibson at Jack Giambalvo Buick/GMC 4 years ago and was so pleased with the experience, that I didn't even consider any other brands. I was determined to buy a car from Bill, so I limited my choices to the brands he sold, which were Buick and GMC. I had experienced a job loss since my last purchase, so my credit wasn't as clean as it was the last time. Bill and the finance team made the process extremely pleasant. I didn't think I would qualify for a new car loan, and was considering buying a beat up used car, but the Giambalvo team made everything work out for me. I plan to see them again, when I need to replace my next car. More
