Disappointed I took my 2004 expedition in for an alignment they put it on a hoist and found a brake line leaking they called me to tell me and have me come back to I took my 2004 expedition in for an alignment they put it on a hoist and found a brake line leaking they called me to tell me and have me come back to look at it. I came back to look at it and they put my vehicle on the hoist so I could see the leak they didn’t ask if I wanted to have them fix it , he just started pointing at the rust underneath and said his technician was concerned about doing the alignment because of the rust, so I asked does this mean you don’t want to do the alignment he nodded and told his tech to bring the vehicle down and move it outside. I am not so much disappointed that he didn’t do the alignment but that they didn’t investigate the the leaking brake line and give me a choice of having them fix it I had to drive it back to work and figure out what to do from there. I understand that it is an older vehicle with 282,000 miles on it and some rust but it is a ford product and you should be able to get it fixed at a ford facility and to send someone out with a leaking brake line with out trying to fix it so they can drive somewhere else safely to get an alignment they didn’t want to do is frankly very DISAPPOINTING!! More
