I had been talking about buying/leasing a vehicle for months. So much so that my family was sick of hearing about it. But, it's not an easy decision to make! What dealership to go to, what model to, b months. So much so that my family was sick of hearing about it. But, it's not an easy decision to make! What dealership to go to, what model to, buy..lease...so many decisions to make that it was literally making my head spin. The only thing I knew was that I was getting a Ford. I went to several local Ford dealerships, test drove 4 vehicles and spoke with several "nice" dealers. I then made my decision and went to a dealership, spoke with a gentleman who was kind enough, patient and helpful. He gave me a few printouts of quotes for the vehicle I was interested in and I decided to "sleep" on it, as it ended up being a lot more money than I anticipated on spending. I woke up the next morning with a fire in my belly and decided that today was the day that I was leasing a car. On a gut feeling, I took the paperwork that the gentleman gave me from the previous dealership and went to Jack Demmer Ford. I sat down with Duane Laidlaw, (the brother-in-law to my mother's friend) and told him of all my travels, thoughts and concerns. He was extremely patient, understanding and accommodating. He brought out the Fusion that I was thinking about and found a dealership in Ohio that had exactly the color I wanted. I test drove the vehicle and LOVED IT. I showed him the paperwork from the competitive dealership and the quote that was given. He ran the same information that the dealer from the other night did and to my amazement....Duane came up $30.00/mo CHEAPER !!!! Duane was equally amazed, he could not figure out where the previous dealer came up with the figure he quoted me. I was sold right then and there!!! I spent four hours with Duane that day, going back and forth from this model to that model, leasing pricing versus buying pricing. Never once did Duane make me feel obligated or bothersome. In the end, I ended up leasing a beautiful, ruby red 2014 Escape, that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! Once my decision was made the whole process took 30 mins!!! Duane made my experience hassle free and enjoyable. The folks at Jack Demmer have certainly made me a raving customer. Simply put, not only will I continue to shop at Jack Demmer, but I will rave, to anyone who listens, about my experience shopping there. Scott Dougherty is a true professional. He had all the paperwork, the financing, and the total package completely prepared when I walked into the building. In the past I have had to endure up to a 3 hour timeframe to complete this transaction. I saw a car online I liked so I contacted Peter about it, and he was really helpful at first. I liked my car, untill two days after I got it home the driver side mirror fell off. The mirror housing had a cra and he was really helpful at first. I liked my car, untill two days after I got it home the driver side mirror fell off. The mirror housing had a crack in it, and buying the car with the crack in the housing was "part of our deal", but little did I know that crack would make the whole outside housing of the mirror fall off. When I test drove it, the battery sounded like it need to be replaced. I asked Peter to have them check the battery before I bought it. He said okay. The day after my mirror fell off, the car would not start. This was only 3 days after I bought the car! Their "carfax" type of system said the car has not been in an accident. I took the car up to a body shop today to have another set of eyes look at it. I found out both fenders have been taken off and put back on, the whole front end and fenders have been repainted, the clip that holds the hood down has been replaced and is already rusting, and the list goes on. I don't know what the real carfax shows and I'm scared to see. Needless to say the dealership said the car has not been in an accident but it has. And with the mirror and battery situation. I'm just "xxxx out of luck." There is nothing Peter wanted to do about either of them. I regret ever buying from this dealer. I haven't had the car for a week and its been in the shop twice. More

Brought vehicle in. Line out door, waited 30 minutes to be written up. Service writer, Mr. Houston very personable, friendly and sincere. Informed service writer that additionally I needed an oil change. Please note the display on dash, and sticker on vehicle reflected this. Considering that you had my vehicle a week it seems that you would have even tried to sell me on this service. Left service center dismayed. Mr. Houston again is very personable stated that it would only take 45 minutes for an oil change as I was leaving..... Actually had I gone to Star Lincoln they would have changed my oil for free. Please note I am related to the past president of the UAW ( Dearborn) , Jimmy Williams. Jimmy always recommends to our family that we purchase American and particularly from Demmer Ford and Lincoln. I am disappointed and dismayed by this service. More
