This was my first car I have leased - I was nervous and feeling overwhelmed about the unknown and added fees due to this current market, But, i’m so happy I went with Volkswagen. After walking in to the dealership, I met with Mentor, who was very kind and knowledgeable. He assured that all my questions were answered, and knew everything there was to know about the car. On the test drive I got a “crash course” on the car and was impressed with the car itself. After laying out my budget range, Mentor was able to come up with a few options for me and I decided to move forward with the Lease. I appreciate how he was very straight forward about what was and wasn’t possible within my budget. It was refreshing to hear as many other dealerships gave me “maybes” and run arounds when it came to pricing. When it came time to pick up the vehicle, Jason (in their finance department) was also extremely helpful. He answered all my questions and explained everything in great detail - which was nice, as I had a ton questions with this being my first lease. Mentor was sure to show me each button and feature the car has to offer upon pick up. He kept me informed on the process of waiting for the car to be delivered, and i’m truly so happy I got to experience such a pleasant interaction in my first car buying process. I checked their site and it showed they had a particular Tiguan in Stock. I then called to verify. Within 2 hours and I went to the dealer in person. Upon my arrival, I was told the car was "just" sold earl Tiguan in Stock. I then called to verify. Within 2 hours and I went to the dealer in person. Upon my arrival, I was told the car was "just" sold earlier today. I then explained that I have ordered the Tiguan at another dealership and was not interested in placing an order for it through them. They said they would try to beat their price and give me a better offer for my trade in. After speaking to the manager for about 20 minutes or so, the salesperson came back with the car at $5K over MSRP and offered me $500 less for my trade in. They claimed they sell cars at Market Value, not MSRP. It was honestly a waste of my time. I would avoid this dealership. More
