There are many reasons to recommend this dealership, as well as our sales person Charlie Tito. All of our questions were answered honestly, and Charlie took the time to get to know us and what features we well as our sales person Charlie Tito. All of our questions were answered honestly, and Charlie took the time to get to know us and what features we wanted/were most important to us in finding us the perfect car. We never felt rushed to make a decision. Our car was delivered as promised, and Charlie took the time to explain all of the features of the car, and demonstrated how to use the navigation system as well as the radio. He even pre-set the radio satations for me based upon my music preferences! Our dealings with Brandon, the finance manager were also positive. He explained the financing process, and offered us options according to our budget. Without hesitation, I would return to Jack Daniels to purchase my next car. More
Going to this dealership was a very pleasurable experience. I have leased with Wendy before and this time when I returned to her at the Fairlawn location which was successful. She made everything experience. I have leased with Wendy before and this time when I returned to her at the Fairlawn location which was successful. She made everything easy and was very honest about everything. She made us feel welcomed and satisfied about the decision we were making. Brandon the Finance Manager and Chet Puzio the Sales Manager were also very helpful and great people. They all treated us very well and I am 100% satisfied and would recommend everyone to this Volkswagen dealership. More

Had a good experience working with Charlie Tito. He is a diligent hard working guy who is dedicated to making the purchase of a new car - and the negotiating that goes with it - as pleasant as possible. As diligent hard working guy who is dedicated to making the purchase of a new car - and the negotiating that goes with it - as pleasant as possible. As with any negotiation there are always issues that arise and he mitigated the frustration of that like a pro. In the end was quite satisfied with the process - and the car!. At time of delivery he was helped out by his associate John Carroll who was extremely knowledgeable about the myriad of features on the 2012 Touareg TDI Lux. More

I did my research before test-driving the car I wanted (the 2012 VW cc) so I knew what I wanted. However, I could not be sure of anything since I had never driven the car! When I arrived at Jack Daniels (the 2012 VW cc) so I knew what I wanted. However, I could not be sure of anything since I had never driven the car! When I arrived at Jack Daniels, I was approached by John Carroll. I liked him immediately and we ended up talking about the car, our backgrounds, etc. for 30 minutes before going on the test-drive. After driving the car, I knew it was the car I wanted. I am not the type of person to make a purchase immediately, so we agreed to talk again soon. I also wanted my wife to take the car for a drive before any decisions were made. Over the next couple of weeks, John would check in with me to see when my wife might be able to come in. Because there was never a convenient time for us to go to Fair Lawn, we actually went to a local dealer so my wife could drive the car. Although we went to another dealer to test-drive the car, there was never a doubt that I wanted to give my business to John. After the test-drive, my wife and I decided that we wanted to car. I asked John if he could meet me at a specific price point. Jack Daniels was running a special during that month, so John and his manager were able to meet me at that price point. My wife and I went to the dealership a few days later and picked up the car. We are now leasing the 2012 VW cc... and we love it ;) I would recommend this dealership (and especially John!!) if you are interested in a new Volkswagen. I hope this review will help you. Good luck! More
I do not like to say bad things about anyone, but I feel compelled to point out my experience. These are the FACTS, there is NO opinion or subjective evaluation here (other than the positive things that I w compelled to point out my experience. These are the FACTS, there is NO opinion or subjective evaluation here (other than the positive things that I will say). There is no excuse, no amount of glibness that can explain this away. I contacted several dealers about the upcoming purchase that I had in mind. To his credit, Bill Gusta was one of the VERY few who answered me personally, and was very diligent about responding to emails, and for a few weeks we had a productive dialogue going while I got my ducks in a row to buy a car. When the time came to start to really put the deal together (I was ready to buy) Bill was hard to get on the phone. At one point I tried to reach him for a day and half (and no, this was not on his day off). I got terse emails. Email is fine, but once I was ready to buy, I wanted have a short conversation, and I just could not get a call back within a period of time that was reasonable. He's a nice person, but these are the facts. Second- and this is more important. I got a few prices from him for a few different scenarios. I was declined on my credit, which I had warned him was possible, so we got approved through my wife. But, he told me, she was at the "b tier" which meant that my payment would go up. That's also fine. But: as I always do, at the last minute I check with another dealer just to see if everything is copascetic. Rest assured that $5 a month or a few bucks is not enough to get me to be disloyal to someone I was working with for several weeks, even after the communication breakdown. There were two problems: the price I got from the dealer 2 was not a little bit cheaper, it was a LOT cheaper. Dealer 2 told me that the price was low because the leasing programs on the car I wanted happened to be very aggressive. Dealer 2 also told me that he pulled out the approval for my wife, which was already there (I used the same exact application - same EXACT numbers) and that she most definitely was NOT "tier B" and he SHOWED me that we had been approved at the top level, and that he was able to give me the best terms available. What would you do? The price was almost $80 per month cheaper. Either my salesman at Jack Daniels was being less than forthright with me (hard for me to believe) OR the finance manager was being less than forthright with HIM (easier to believe). Either way: I could not possibly buy a car from Jack Daniels after that experience. Please be careful if you deal with them. More
