Overall my husband and I had a great experience shopping at Jack Daniels VW. Our salesperson was Paul and he was lovely to deal with from start to finish. Brian Abrams, a young, hard-working, and highly-motivated salesperson was the employee who approached me on one Friday night I walked-in to the dealership. Unbeknownst to me, the dealership was already close salesperson was the employee who approached me on one Friday night I walked-in to the dealership. Unbeknownst to me, the dealership was already closed and when Brian informed me so, I was quick to respond that I would be back. I was certain that the dealership was the last place this young man wanted to be on a Friday night, negotiating a deal with an intimidating-looking xxxxxx like me. (After all, during the last 30 years of leasing vehicles, I have had my share of interactions with these guys and, in fact, have had friends who worked at various dealerships, enough to know that, most-likely, after I sign my credit away, my drive home is going to be extremely uncomfortable, and I will be sore in a spot I never am, otherwise.) Besides, I was in no rush as I still had 9 months left on my existing GTI lease. Brian insisted I stay, though, as he didn't mind, and we could, at least, attempt to finalize a deal. Reluctantly, yet fortunately for me, I stayed, but not long. I walked-out, having a restful drive home, with no soreness, and knowing I had coming my way a brand new GTI, with $0 down, reasonable monthly lease payments, turning-in the GTI in my possession early without any penalty, and, most-important, would not have to pay a penny for the 10,000 plus miles I had already exceeded vis-a-vis allowed (with the remaining months being based on a projection, of course.) From that night until the actual delivery date of the new GTI, Brian kept me abreast of its status, without being annoying by texting me everyday. He was a gentleman, respectful, grateful and had no desire to see how flexible I am by stretching forward and touching my toes. More
