Airbag recall turned into nightmare morning after airbag replacement key fob would not go in key slot. Called dealer and serv rep advised me since car was ok when I drove it home' was ju morning after airbag replacement key fob would not go in key slot. Called dealer and serv rep advised me since car was ok when I drove it home' was just coincidendal. Friday am I was told by rep I would get a call back. No call. I called Monday am service mgr advised have car towed there. AAA driver checked ignition slot and pulled out a piece of jammed paper. Drove car to dealer to remove rest of paper, which turned out to be pieces of key tag w service number on it. Then today my daughter waited 2 hours to have a key programmed when she was told would take one hour when she made appt last week. The serv mgr told me when I called that it takes st least an hour and it takes as long as it takes. She was there 2 hours with a 5 year old! Obviously retaliation bec I complained to VW corp. Go to any other VW service center if you must, but not Jack Daniels. They are good when you buy the car NOT when service is needed then it's a completely different animal. More

Everyone was extremely knowledgeable, genuinely friendly, and the VW Jetta meet our needs perfectly. The process included a drive over to the Service Center to meet the Service Center Manager, know the location and see the Center - very helpful and thought out. Also got to read the Rhino Code, the dealerships secret handshake if you will - nice folks. More

When I visited Jack Daniels in Fairlawn I was greeted and treated with courtesy and respect. I met with Shawn concerning the vehicle I was interested in and he was extremely helpful! He made me feel at ease and I did not feel pressured. I can actually say that he made the car buying experience surprisingly pleasant. Jim handle the financial part of the deal and he was knowledgeable and upfront about fees and warranty services. Strange I came in to lease a not super high end car and made my preferences on budget, down payment, mileage pretty clear up front. I was partnered with a fairly young enthusiastic but not so experience salesman. He was nice but relied heavily on the sales manager for the straight facts. They came back with a price near $100 over my monthly budget and at 10k and 12k mileage range when I specifically asked for 15k/year mileage pricing. I had questions about whether the taxes / fees were included in the monthly payments or would be additional to that and there was persistent confusion before it was decided they were included and that the down and 36 monthly payments would be the entire cost of the lease. I said I can afford $220, not $290 a month and they simply said ok. That seems like terrible bargaining or the original calculation was a major shifty rip-off, not sure which is worse. Anyway I didn't like the feel from this dealer and went elsewhere. More
