Drove 2 hours down there to find out the car wasn't ready yet and I couldn't take it home even if I wanted to. Strike 1. Drove the car, aside from cosmetic issues, the car checked out. Salesmen didn't know what trim level the car was and argued with me otherwise. Constantly hovering while I looked at the vehicle giving me the idea he didn't want me to find something on the car. Car checked out though. Made appoint to come back the Saturday. During the time between Monday and Saturday the dealership called me 3 times but 2 different people essentially begging me to come for my appointment earlier. I made my appointment for 5 because that was the best I could do. Couldn't leave my area until 3. They begged me to try and get there sooner and made me seem very un-welcomed if I got there any later than that. Seems their mentality of getting out at 6 for their BBQ perhaps was getting in the way of sale. Saturday came. My girlfriend (driving me down there to pick up vehicle) was nice enough to take off of work and lose money for me, in order to appease this dealership. I called early morning before we left and told them we will be down there in 2 hours to have the car on lot and ready to go. We drove 2 yours down, got there, looked at the car again after its supposed "prep work" had taken place between Monday and Saturday. Interior was still a mess, (dirty leather, stuff stuck on plastics) exterior looked nicer, but was not Very good detail. Engine bay was not even clean. They didn't even spray water on it let alone detail it. I wonder where my $1200 prep few went. I looked over the car again and even scanned the vehicle for DTC's as this dealership continued to give me some serious shady feelings. Everything checked out again. I came in early for the dealer, and we still sat there for an hour before I got into finance office. Strike 2. Finance went well. No complaints there. Henry seems like a good guy. Alas, I was finally the owner of a 2015 GTI. Driving it home, I was so happy. Until I hit the on ramp to 80 and it barely moved. I didn't think anything of it but it was concerning. I figured I'd give it one more shot. Leaving the toll booth from Delaware Water Gap, I hit second and floored it to see boost come on and got nothing. I plugged my OB2 scanned in and began reading for codes and looking at some live data. Targeted boost was for 23PSI, actual was only 14PSI. At that moment the EPC light came on. ON THE DRIVE HOME. I got it home and called dealer, which was of course, little help. Upon my diagnosis and visual check, the boost pipe in the right front connected to the intercooler was entirely disconnected. Please keep in mind, my test drive on Monday went extremely well. The had to be under the vehicle in service to do the oil change no? They didn't happen to see the 3 inch diameter pipe completely disconnected during their prep? During their pre-owned inspection? Or was it purposely disconnected between Monday and Saturday because they knew I didn't want to buy the extended warranty? Again, where did that $1200 prep fee go? Certainly not to have service do a proper pre delivery inspection. Strike 3. Very disappointed. The dealer just seemed "off." Everyone was polite and nice but there was this but feeling that I was getting dooped on this car. And I think through out my experience I should have went with my gut. I wouldn't recommend it to a friend. Find a more honest dealer. Unless someone specifically refers you here, don't bother buying used here. More

Extremely happy we did. Our sales associate John was a perfect fit for us; very personable, no nonsense and attentive to our needs. Never pressured us into anything, and even helped us decided not to purchase a higher model as the numbers didn't make sense. When was the last time you bought a new car and the dealer convinced you not to spend more money? Everyone was pleasant to deal with (we talked with a few associates about some of the features), and if we're ever in the market for another VW, Jack Daniels would be our first stop. More
