Awful, awful experience with this dealership — review your purchase agreement with a magnifying glass To start the sales rep couldn’t answer a sing Awful, awful experience with this dealership — review your purchase agreement with a magnifying glass To start the sales rep couldn’t answer a single question about the vehicle that I test drove. A direct quote from my test drive “I don’t know anything about cars but I know how to sell them”…. great. I had done enough research on the car prior to coming in that I ultimately purchased it regardless as the price seemed ok based on specs. I was buying the car without financing but still got the typical used car dealer strong arm about financing with them which I declined. Likewise they pushed an extended warranty pretty hard which I declined. I was also offered (AND DECLINED) an additional service of “window registration etching” supposedly to prevent theft? Complete nonsense. I realized after the fact that it was indeed added to my bill anyways, in small font (for $195) — You have to actively check a box that says “decline” otherwise they default to you wanting it because they need to make money. There was no “accept” or “agree” option, just a small box that says decline buried in the pile of paperwork they pass you page by page when you buy. The fun doesn’t stop — The real reason for my review: I paid Audi USR a 493$ “Document fee” & a $140 Registration/Title fee only for them to pull a former address from the DMV system (one that I never provided them) and used that for my title and registration. I contacted them several months after purchase as I had still not received a title like I was promised only to discover the reason for the delay. Yep, they mailed my title to a former address and it was thrown out. This resulted in me having to drive 5 hours back to NJ from out of state and pay even more to have the NJ DMV issue me a duplicate title. Typical run-around when I asked for the document/title/duplicate title and scam “glass etching” fees I discovered to be refunded. Avoid this sleazy place like the plague. More
