It was the best experience buying a car that we have ever had. I love their low pressure sales strategy. The staff at Southern Maine Motors are unlike staff at other dealerships. had. This was for the appliques on both the driver and passenger sides of the jeep. The appliques has been bubbling so finally I brought it in to have fixed. Thank you for the loaner vehicle. It wa passenger sides of the jeep. The appliques has been bubbling so finally I brought it in to have fixed. Thank you for the loaner vehicle. It was very much appreciated. The jeep was returned and I looked it over. I asked Mike to come out and look over the appliques. Unfortunately, it had bubbled again - possibly due to the heat. Mike agreed there was still an issue and my assumption he has made a note of it on my records. I would like to bring the jeep in again in a few weeks to have the vendor (moody's?) fix it again hopefully for good. Is this a defect problem with appliques? Is Jeep Corp aware of this problem? I have also asked that Elaine no longer be my service rep. I have explained my reasons to Mike. Thank you. More

Like most dealers, they love selling you extra warranties, but don't want to honor them. We've had two warranty issues and both times we've had to fight to get them to honor their commitment. They're very friendly when you're purchasing a new car, but once you sign the papers and they get their money, you're nothing to them. More
My husband and I were coming from PA when we had a problem with our 1998 Dodge truck while we were towing a camper. They said they would try to help and they were very helpful at first. They let us s problem with our 1998 Dodge truck while we were towing a camper. They said they would try to help and they were very helpful at first. They let us stay there in our camper at the dealership and we gave them a rave review on google as a result. The bill came to almost $1000 and we had no idea what parts or labor would have been required for our repair so when we arrived home, after stopping at another dealership in Danvers, Mass., spending another $500 in repairs, we took 15 hours to get to PA since the rear differential had overheated so badly that we needed the sensor replaced and no fluid was put into the rear at this establishment. Upon arriving home, we had to buy a rear at the junkyard and pay another $1000. altogether with the installation. My mechanic here in PA is a certified transmission mechanic and he looked over our bill and said that there were two parts that had nothing to do with our problem and never should have been charged to us which amounted to about half or better of the entire bill. The service technician replaced the sensor and the computer readout on our transmission when it wasn't necessary for the truck to be fixed, overcharging us for the mechanic's mistake. Since we are from PA and not likely to deal with this outfit again, I called Elaine and told her I wanted to speak to the Service Manager about this bill. He didn't return my call for a week and then when I called back, he was on vacation and said he would call me when he got back. I feel that it won't be good news when he does finally call me, but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone for service for their vehicles. Then when we had to go to the dealer in Mass., I was told that if any of the parts they replaced were bad that we wouldn't be charged, but the mechanic put the wrong part number on the rear sensor, so we had to pay for another one. My mechanic told me that the number wasn't even a Dodge or Chrysler part number. Needless to say, we will not vacation in Maine again, since before this happened, we did enjoy many summers up there.
