The service department at this dealership lacks consistency and communication. They had our truck in their lot for 10 days before they could diagnose it, and then an additional two weeks before the consistency and communication. Tylor the rep we worked with seemed to be unable to separate criticism of the business from himself personally. When we questioned what the hold up was before we could even start work on the job he would make comments such as “ it seems like you’re frustrated with me”. My most frustrating moment was when he called me, and I used the opportunity to better understand the systematic hold ups, and he was exasperated as he stated, “ as I tried to explain to your husband… he just wasn’t understanding.” My husband is a critical care doctor, I have no patience for a service tech coping a tone and questioning my husband. I understand not everyone is born with customer service skills, but it felt like our service tech was not properly trained. His divide and conquer technique between husband and wife did not sit favorably with our family. To add to the frustration, Tylor also asked us to contact the warranty company ourselves as he couldnt get a response. We both work full time, and trusted the dealership to take care of us, and stand behind a warranty that was sold to us through a dealership in their system at the time. Instead, he put work on the customer and didn’t offer any compensation. The warranty company sent us time stamped emailed that the dealership hadn’t contacted them. Tylor insisted he had done the same, but evidence shows he called, didn’t like staying on hold, and hung up. He also did only the bare minimum calling once a day. He was not in a hurry to get our truck back to us. When I emailed the warranty company and the dealership together, the manager or Tylor never called to make it right or apologize. They only waived the service fee when we grew frustrated and took our truck else where. The kicker of the situation? The dealership quoted us $5,500 to fix our truck… and we had it fixed by a certified local mechanic for just over 1,000. I feel like they tried to take advantage of us. When we took the truck and asked for the diagnostic fee to be waived, they did to “ keep things friendly”. The comment felt pejorative. There are so many different options of where to buy our next truck, and we would be hard pressed to give this dealership any business knowing the character of people that work in their service department. I had an exceptional experience with this dealership and its staff. My salesman, Mason Mullen, was attentive and very knowledgeable about the process and the vehicle I was interested in buying. My experience was so positive that I have already recommended friends to go see Kayleigh, that it is worth going all the way to Saco (were in Gray). She was amazing, dealt with me for 3 days and even recommended friends to go see Kayleigh, that it is worth going all the way to Saco (were in Gray). She was amazing, dealt with me for 3 days and even came in on her day off so I could sign the paperwork. Jim was great too! He did everything he could to make sure I was happy with the deal I was getting, and I walked away extremely happy with my car and the entire experience. Gary even came in on his day off so I could sign all the paperwork and leave with my car. Bottom line, they made buying my new suburban as painless and wonderful as possible. David provided personalized care for my vehicles routine maintenance visit. I waited for the service and it was completed timely.
