They were prompt with responses. Car was as advertised. They had made a repair before I saw it and one at my request after I saw it but before I bought it. I still paid the same Car was as advertised. They had made a repair before I saw it and one at my request after I saw it but before I bought it. I still paid the same price for the car. Craig and Sarah were awesome. No pressure sales. I highly recommend Jack Carroll's Skagit Hyundai. More
This dealership even to the director of finance and owner are in concert with Santander Consumer USA, and the extended warranty company they’ve peddled for 4 years going 5 now. The same statements by the are in concert with Santander Consumer USA, and the extended warranty company they’ve peddled for 4 years going 5 now. The same statements by the director of finance regarding the extended warranty are on par with what Santander gave as financial advice back in October and November about the extended warranty. On top of Santander even admitting criminal negligence and bank fraud on a recorded line by multiple associates. In direct conversations with both the owner of Skagit Hyundai and the director of finance, both of them have essentially lied to me personally, and have held back documents that impact financials, against consumer laws and my legal right as a consumer. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!This dealership will totally STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! This dealership will totally screw you over and pull the rug out from underneath you if a better deal comes along. I wa STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! This dealership will totally screw you over and pull the rug out from underneath you if a better deal comes along. I was working with the dealership to buy a 2017 Nissan Titan XD from them. I got financing approval through them and they agreed to overnight the documents to me so my wife could sign and then I was planning to fly to Seattle (I live 6 1/2 hours away in Central Oregon), rent a car and drive up there to finalize the deal. I worked out all the details with Tom and agreed to come up to the dealership on Friday. Bought my plane ticket and reserved a rental car on Wednesday after agreeing to this scenario with Tom......Wednesday night he called me and said that he just sold the truck to someone else because they made a cash offer!!!! Are you freakin' kidding me?! He gave me some BS excuse about how there is a law in Washington preventing them from holding the vehicle for me. They weren't "holding" the truck for me! All they had to say to the cash offer guy was "we already have a deal in process with someone else. If that doesn't work out we'll let you know." So now I missed out on the truck and I'm out $400+ in a plane ticket and rental car. This dealership is exactly why people hate working with car salesman. More
Do not buy from this dealership the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced and I’m still experiencing two years later Do not buy extra insurance because they will not follow through with that e service I’ve ever experienced and I’m still experiencing two years later Do not buy extra insurance because they will not follow through with that either More
FALSE ADVERTISING! For starters, the dealership was advertising the car as "Just Arrived Photos coming soon!" That wasn't the case. I was told later, that Skagit Hyundai For starters, the dealership was advertising the car as "Just Arrived Photos coming soon!" That wasn't the case. I was told later, that Skagit Hyundai had the car since November and the owners wife was driving it, currently it had 1,300 miles on. To me that's false advertising. Then, they failed to honor the internet price I received on the 4th of July, and the Hyundai’s incentive. I was also accused of blackmail in a text by the sales manager, Joe. I called the dealership and explained my poor experience I had the day before. I asked the Joe if he could give me a good deal on the car because of what happened the day before and the misleading advertising. In return he asked, that I not post my poor experience on social media. Here I am. The sales manager never asked the price I was quoted the day before, I just assumed he knew, it’s the same company after all. The best price I was offered was $1,000.00 more than the price I originally received. He claimed that the first price included the discounts. Nowhere on the quote did it mention it included discounts. Hyundai was offering three different pricing options. When I called on the 5th, the salesman confirmed the price he had given the day before, and that I could add in the Hyundai incentive. He was going to talk to finance to see which incentive would be better and call me right away. He never called. Three hours later I called him, but he said the car wasn't on the lot anymore, someone was driving it as their car. I told him I was still interested even if it had a few miles. After all it said, "JUST ARRIVED". Again I never heard back from him, so I called on the 6th and was accused of BLACKMAIL by the Joe, the sales manager. This business lacks integrity, communication, and is just plain rude. More
Knowledgeable, Best Price Forward You won't have to haggle on price and given their location you will save on tax compared to dealerships further south on the I-5 corridor. Craig is You won't have to haggle on price and given their location you will save on tax compared to dealerships further south on the I-5 corridor. Craig is very polite and knowledgeable about the cars he is selling. A step above salesman I've worked with other places in the past. I received a fair offer for my trade. (You will always get more if you sell it yourself...) Finance offers things you don't need, like paint protection, and things you may well not need, like extended warranties. They are not pushy so don't make yourself feel rushed when your talking with them, take your time. More
Slappin lipstick on a hog....rattle can restoration. Went in to look at a 2010 Ford Raptor. It was in decent shape but the whole undercarriage had been rattle caned black...even the exhaust and tail pipe Went in to look at a 2010 Ford Raptor. It was in decent shape but the whole undercarriage had been rattle caned black...even the exhaust and tail pipes. Not sure why they thought this would help the value of the truck. The outside facing frame was painted but the inside was not...you could even see areas with light to no paint where they were too lazy to bend over. The motor was filthy...you would think of they were trying to "spiff" up the truck they would have steam cleaned the motor. They also sprayed way to much "new car smell" inside. The truck ran good and shifted well but the u-joints were super worn and clunky. I asked if the did a mechanical check on he truck and I was told "we did a safety check, and did an oil change" . When I asked if the did a compression and leak down check they said it runs fine so no. If a dealer is going to sell a "specialty vehicle" like the Ford SVT Raptor they should be aware of the service they require, and issues that can arise from not being serviced correctly. So Dealers.....please don't try and make a vehicle something it is not by spray canning the crap out of it....it just cheapens your dealship, and taints your credibility. The upside is I worked with Leon Scott and he was pleasant. More
