Recall Recently I had a recall on my 2014 Kia Optima which we had taken it to JT Kia about 3 times for them to tell us that we had no recall on the car, but Recently I had a recall on my 2014 Kia Optima which we had taken it to JT Kia about 3 times for them to tell us that we had no recall on the car, but get a email a day or two later letting us know that the car has a recall. Long story short the customer services sucks bad at this place, there is no communication at all and it saddens me that I brought 2 cars the same day and to be treated unfairly is not good. It's like they sale you the car and afterward they don't care. I finally took the car back on Friday and no one called me Friday or Saturday to let me know what was going on with the car. I had to call to find out someone was suppose to call me and let me know that they had to order a part for the car and will let me know when it is ready to be picked up, that never happened because no one never called and I had to keep calling them to find out. I took my 2015 Kia for a oil change that Wednesday to find out that the part just came in for the 2014 and it would be ready that day which it was but I had to go the entire weekend and the middle of the week with my car. I was never offered a rental until my car was completed or anything and I told them that I was a traveling Senior Manager and needed my car for work and was told that I need to call the Kia Corporation because they can't provide me with nothing to drive. I was an epic fail because they said the same thing and they never called me back until a couple of weeks later after I complained about the situation. When I finally got the car back on Wednesday they told me that everything was good and I can get the car, that Monday I was traveling to Florida for vacation and just got to Jacksonville when the same thing started happening to the car from the recall and the car actually stopped on the highway and we had no choice but pray the car would coast to the side so we can pull over from the highway and once we did it shut completely off. I call JT Kia and ask to speak with Jonathan or Laura and no one never came to the phone so I ask the rep could I speak with anyone and told her what was going on and that we needed help because we was broken down on side of the road so she put me back on hold for about 10 mins to come back and say that she can't find anyone and hung up in my face so I called back again and she hung up on me again after I explained to her we needed help we were on side of the road for about 3 hours with my granddaughter and it was extremely hot that day and the only thing I wanted was for someone to get us some roadside assistance and tell us when the nearest Kia dealership was in Jacksonville but that never happened because when I called back on the 3rd and 4th time they would not pick up the phone. I ended up googling the nearest Kia Dealership in Jacksonville and spoke with my angel from heaven Mr. Craig from Southside Kia he was soooo helpful he gave me the name of the towing service that they use and it took only 25 mins before they came and picked us up and he was there waiting on us to come. When I got there I had to fill out some paperwork he told me what the problem was with the car he sent me on a shuttle to Enterprise to pick up a car and told me to enjoy my vacation and take the car home and he will call me when the car is ready but will keep me up to date on what's going on with the car. He call us while we were at Disneyworld to make sure we made it there and also to let us know they had to order a engine for the car, it was that simple. JT Kia would never get recommended by me for anything and for someone to keep hanging the phone up in my face is poor customer service and to this day I haven't heard from anyone there again they just didn't care that we were stuck on side of the road with a minor child in the car with 100 degree weather with no water for hours. I even pleaded with them through a text message to give me corporate number because someone hung up on me twice but no response not even until this day nothing. Thank you Craig from Southside Kia in Jacksonville for taking good care of me and my family at our time of need. They were understanding greeted us at the door with water and a cool place to relax until he processed us to continue our vacation. More
