Poor Customer Service I purchased a vehicle about a month ago (As Is), but I informed my sales person that the automatic locks in the car did not work and I would like to h I purchased a vehicle about a month ago (As Is), but I informed my sales person that the automatic locks in the car did not work and I would like to have that fixed (after all, this is a safety issue). You had to manually lock and unlock the doors. The key did not even work. My sales person said he would look into it, but never did. I left messages for him to return my call for three days and I did not get a return call. Finally, I contacted the service department that told me I would need to have Nissan take a look at it since it was a Nissan Versa. So, I took it over to the Nissan Dealership and they stated that all four actuators needed to be replaced. The manager at Kia told Nissan to have me bring the car back to them and they would take care of it. I had to pay $134.00 for the diagnostic check. I was already 4 days without my vehicle at this time. So, I took the vehicle over to Kia and dropped it off. This was a disaster. No one returned my call to let me know what was going on, and every time I spoke with the sales manager that told me to bring the car over, he directed me to talk to the service night manager. When I spoke with the night manager, he kept directing me to speak to the sales manager. This went on for four days and finally the service department did admit that actuators were needed. The sales manager now says that they would not foot the bill and I would have to pay half of a $1200 bill, and they would have to order the part. This was poor customer service by Kia and not good business. After being informed that Kia would take care of the problem, me being charged $134, and being without my vehicle for almost two weeks, this was the best they could do. I told them that I would just come and pick my vehicle up and would not do any further business with them. This was the worst customer service that I have ever experienced with a car dealership, and no one seems to be worried about customer satisfaction. JT's Kia was nothing like JT's Dodge that I purchased a truck from. I was very disappointed and would not recommend them to anyone. It seems like they are only concerned about the "SALE" and not the "CUSTOMER", as advertised. More
