The salesperson amd financial officer were very friendly and great customer service skills. I saw the car I wanted on facebook and by my description the salesperson went out and brought it to curb. JTs Kia is HORRIBLE. They did my oil change improperly which caused my engine to lock up. Now they don't want to take responsibility. I was driving on the highway with my 2 daughters(4 & 14) and my fiance which caused my engine to lock up. Now they don't want to take responsibility. I was driving on the highway with my 2 daughters(4 & 14) and my fiance when my car started smoking. In the mist of that, my car lost acceleration so i had to hurry to the side of road. Soon as i make it to side, my car cuts off. I then try to crank but it wont turn over so i proceeded to check under my hood. Popped hood and a cloud of smoke comes out. Look behind engine and its oil all behind engine. I then proceed to look under car when i noticed there was oil pouring from under car and i see my OIL DRAIN BOLT laying directly under car. I then begin to take pictures and call my insurance for a tow truck. Had car towed to JTs kia but unfortunately they were closed because it was sunday, 2/9/2020. I then went on website and chatted with someone on website about situation to inform them on what was going on. They told me they would forward information and somebody would be reaching out to me. The next day at around 7:55 a.m. i begin to call them when i get a beep on my line and it was the dealership calling. It was Marcin. I then explain to Marcin, who was my service advisor, about my issue. He assured me that they would look at car to determine what was wrong. I also sent my photos to them just to show them about incident. Never got a reply through message, stating he received pictures, so after some time i call back to make sure they got them and whether they looked at my car yet. At that point, they hadn't checked it out so i wait to hear something. After some hours of no response, i call back to find out something. Still nothing but had me under the impression, that they was gone get to it but had other cars to service, then they would get me in. More hours passed and still heard nothing so I call back. At this point, I'm getting frustrated because ALL they had to do was just communicate with me and i would've understood better then being left in dark. It is now towards closing time and I'm just trying to see where they stand and then the tell me service center is closed. ARE YOU SEROUS? At this point, I'm upset because now I'm without a car and have NO way to pick up my daughters up after i get off work as well as NO way for me to get home. I only have one car. I talk with the secretary at front desk and explain to her my frustration and wanted to speak with a manager but in the midst of our conversation, my frustration gets the best of me, so she hangs up on me. I call back and NO ONE picks up. Call again and no answer. I called at least 5-6 times back to back and still NO ONE picks up. At this point, I am full blown upset. It was approx. 18:45 when i decided to drive my work truck up there before getting off to find out something. I make it there around 19:05. Go inside to ask to speak with GM but was informed he had left for that day, so a sales manager came to speak with me. Not sure why they had a SALES manager come talk with me, but that's beside the point. Addressed the same issue, showed him the pictures and see what could be done. He then went to service department to discuss with service manager, i think he said, for about 10 minutes. Came back and said that they couldn't do anything until they get the car to the back and see EXACTLY what is wrong with it. And that i could expect to hear something tomorrow around 12, NO later then 1300. My soul purpose in going up there was the lack of communication in which i received because I needed something to pick up my daughters once i got off as well as get home myself. NOTHING. Which resulted in me picking up my daughters at 22:30 that night. Something that I could've prevented, if they would of communicated with me better. Next day, I get that call at 10:13 a.m., telling me my engine is locked up. And well you know how that goes. And that it was NOTHING and I mean NOTHING they can do at this point. So now I'm out of a car and obviously $15,000 with it, ALL because of the negligence of an individual. I purchased my car from JT's Kia on April 22, 2017 and have been getting my oil changed there since i purchased it. There is NO WAY my OIL DRAIN BOLT should have came out while I was driving with my family, unless it wasn't properly Torqued/ Tightened. I am HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED, DISSATISFIED, and DISPLEASED with EVERY aspect of my recent experience. And one thing JT's Kia dont mind doing is calling and trying to get you to upgrade vehicles. But when something like this happen, they not as eagerly or willing to be of assistance, like they do when trying to get you in another vehicle. More
