Dear Taylor83, First we would like to thank you for choosing us for your auto purchase. Second we are very sorry that your experience was not as pleasant as you hoped. We appreciate you taking the time to comment, but as you are well aware we agreed since the radio was inoperable you wanted to replace it yourself, this was understood before you contracted. We drove the car and it was to your approval concerning wheel balancing and alignment. Concerning a brake light, sometime bulbs go out. Your car was inspected and serviced completely. We are very sorry that a few minor issues that we would have happily dealt with has upset you so. You mentioned you left a voicemail, we have played every single voicemail we have since your purchase and we cannot seem to find yours. One phone call would have sufficed. All of our vehicles come with a 90 day 4500 mile powertrain warranty. But understand the items you mentioned are normal wear and tear items that are not covered under anyone's warranty.

My Dealership participates in the DealerRater Certified Dealer Programs. We are committed to providing high quality customer service, but based on your DealerRater review, you did not share that experience. That is very disappointing to us, and through this program we have the opportunity to work with you to resolve any issues with your experience at their dealership. On July 20, 2013 Ms. Ward inquired about financing a vehicle with JT Auto Mart, Inc. Ms. Ward was very excited about her purchase of the 2007 Nissan Titan. Especially with the “aftermarket” stereo system and wheels. She welcome the opportunity to have our financing institution finance this vehicle for her as well as purchasing an extended warranty contract. Ms. Ward signed an “As-Is No Warranty” disclaimer. As well as a Retail Installment Sale Contract which clearly states No Cooling Off Period. Ms. Ward was given copies of this contract with her extended warranty contract. JT Auto Mart 2, Inc. sold Ms. Ward her 2007 Nissan Titan in good faith. The Department of Justice website it clearly states the following: Read the terms of the contract. If the deal is being financed by the auto dealership or a lender solicited by the dealer, make sure the contract states the interest rate, also known as the annual percentage rate (APR). It should also contain everything you and the dealer have agreed upon. Don't reply on verbal promises. Your signature confirms your agreement with the terms stated in the contract. Never sign a contract that contains blank spaces. A contract is binding. Unless the contract specifically says otherwise, you can’t cancel it once you and the dealer have signed it. There is no three-day right to cancel nor any other "cooling off" period. Make sure the contract states that you can void the agreement and get back your down payment if the dealer does not meet any part of the agreement. Item number 4 of the NC Law Contract, which Ms. Ward signed, states WARRANTIES SELLER DISCLAIMS: Unless the Seller makes an express warranty, or enters into a service contract within 90 days from the date of this contract, the Seller makes no warranties on the vehicle, and there will be no implied warranties of merchantability or of fitness for a particular purpose. This provision does not affect any warranties covering the vehicle that the vehicle manufacturer may provide. In conclusion, Ms. Ward purchased a used vehicle in which she had the opportunity to have the vehicle inspected by a certified Nissan dealer as well as purchasing an extended warranty. Ms. Ward did utilized her opportunity to purchase a warranty to cover the repairs of the vehicle. JT Auto Mart 2 Inc. feels we made every effort to make the sale of this used vehicle very attractive by obtaining financing for Ms. Ward as well as protecting her against any major repairs that may be needed by purchasing an extended warranty.

Jim and Ryan told me there was no need to get the truck inspected by my own mechanic which is what I wanted to do before buying the car. They included the warranty to the price of the truck without first asking and said that the warranty would cover any issues if I had any so there was no need to get the truck inspected by my own mechanic. And I was not sure I wanted the truck and I said that multiple times over at least an hour because I knew other Nissan owners had trouble and they just kept telling me if there were any issues they would take care of it because it was under warranty that they added to my purchase price without asking, they said it was included since I had concerns. And for the record I bought the truck on JUNE 20th!!! And did not get a tag and title until SEPTEMBER!!! JACK, the OWNER, said he would REIMBURSE ME as long as the finance company agreed and THEY DID! He then went back on his WORD! THIS DEALERSHIP IS FULL OF CROOKS! DID I MENTION THE SALESMAN STOLE THE TRUCK FOR AN ENTIRE DAY????

As a followup to Ms. Wards response. Ms. Ward came to our lot at around 7pm on July 18th to look at a Lexus sedan. She then notice our 2007 Nissan Titan in which she fell in love with due to the aftermarket stereo system as well as the large tires. We here at JT Auto Mart 2, Inc. have over 200 vehicles in stock at any given time. Ms. Ward specifically choose this truck on her own consensus. We explained to Ms. Ward about a warranty that would cover major items with the truck. Ms. Ward agreed to the warranty which was detailed in the Retail Installment Contract as well as the ProGuard Warranty contract. She had the opportunity to take the Titan to her mechanic during the two days of negotiations but she chose not to do so. The temp tag problem was reported to the DMV inspector because there was miscommunication between the auction company and JT Auto Mart. However, we resolved the problem as quickly as possible getting Ms. Ward her permanent tag for her vehicle in which all parties involved where notified in a timely matter. Ms. Ward wants JT Auto Mart to purchase her contract back from the lender and refund her all of her down deposit. We, at JT Auto Mart are willing to assist Ms. Ward in returning the truck as a trade for another vehicle. We sold her this vehicle in good faith. At the time of purchase this vehicle was in good working order therefore we are not sure what Ms. Ward has done to the vehicle since it has been 3 months since she purchased the vehicle.

I didn't even go near jt automart on July 18th!! I was at work at the hospital all day...I never looked at a Lexus sedan I would never own a Lexus the are too expensive to keep up. And again I repeat for an hour I said I wanted to take it to my mechanic and Ryan and Jim told me that a warranty was included in the price and that there wouldn't be in problem fixing the truck if there were any issues. Ryan then stole the truck and went joyriding on June 22nd, two days after I bought the truck and had not had issues with abs or jumping the truck but after he spent the day driving it god knows where I had problems and I told Jim and he said he would have it checked for me. I have text messages proving he agreed to check it!!! And then he didn't ...so when I got tired of their lies I asked for them to take the truck back and JACK agreed if I worked it out with CHASE finance. And chase finance said it was perfectly fine because they already paid JACK all he would have to do is refund them. And now he is going back on his word.

Not that I would accept the offer but a trade-in was never offered to me so I don't know where that came from either. Whoever is writing this obviously was not there on JUNE 20th when I purchased the truck. The only car that we showed any interest in was a VW Beetle at the first lot and that was not for me it was for a friend that was searching for that exact model. I went looking at other dealerships in town and looked at trucks all day. When I got to the second lot of jt's on JUNE 20th I looked at a F250 but when we started it the exhausted sounded horrendous so I moved on. The only reason I looked at the Titan was because it was a truck with four doors and I liked the color, I don't know where they are coming up with the " she was excited about aftermarket stereo and wheels" any one who knows me knows I hardly turned the radio up. I like to be able to hear the exhaust. I have had the amps turned off the entire time I have owned the truck. My ast vehicle was a ford mustang and it lost traction on a rainy night to work so I chose to get a truck so that I would feel safer on the roads. And for the record I had the battery checked on my own time and there is nothing diagnostically wrong with it or alternator...it's most likely a battery saver module but JT's Automart doesn't care about their customers enough to take the two seconds to check that. Even though they say they fired Ryan after his stunt of taking my truck god knows where with his cousin and smoking in my car and leaving trash in it. They still act like its my fault all this stuff happened to the truck as soon as he did that. I don't appreciate people who go back on their word. In my line of business that costs people their lives. So I guess I just get upset when people can't be trusted and as honest as myself. It's just disappointing, plain and simple.

Oh yeah on JULY 18th by 7pm I had jump started the truck THREE times already.

krisward03 responded

I should mention that one good thing has happened since I have to jump start the truck three times a day it gives me the time to tell strangers all about the wonderful experience I have endured working with jt's automart and they even get visible proof. In the mornings when I have to jump start the truck to go to school, my moms customers get to bear witness to my joys of jt's automart, when I leave sandhills community college, I get to ask complete strangers to help me jump start my truck all while telling them never to buy anything from jt's automart, when I leave work from bed bath and beyond the entire parking lot gets to watch as I jump start my truck for the third time of the day and I make sure to let them all know never to shop at jt's automart, when I leave work at the hospital and have to jump start the truck, I make sure and witness to everyone how pleased I am with jt's automart. So thank you for giving me the chance to tell anyone and everyone how wonderful you all have been.

J T Auto Mart Corporation responded

We here at JT Auto Mart are very concerned with our customers and issues they are encountering with their purchase from us. However, in this case Ms. Ward is very upset due to the fact that she needs to replace a battery in her vehicle. Ms. Ward came to our dealership with her father. She was so irrate we could not communicate with her to help resolve issues. Because we could not communicate with her we were unable to negotiate anything with her as she walked out of our building. Ms. Ward wanted us to buy her contract back from her lender and refund her down monies in full. Due to her behavior we were unsuccessful in furthering communication with Ms. Ward. For Ms. Ward to "bad mouth" JT Auto Mart all over Moore county is very unprofessional. Also, here at JT Automart we do not take our customers being unsatisfied lightly. Therefore the salesperson who sold the vehicle is no longer with us. Once again, we would be more than happy to appease Ms. Ward, but only in a professional and productive manner.

krisward03 responded

So does that mean you will buy back the truck that you said you would buy back in front of three witnesses? Because where I come from when you go back on your word that is extremely unprofessional and that tends to make me irate when you lie to my face. The battery was checked and is diagnostically fine so whatever Ryan did to it or took it to and sold or switched parts off the truck is not my fault because I didn't have to jump start before the truck was taken for a day of wasting my gas and not getting the agreed upon fixes.
