When I am looking to purchase a car, particularly in the Mercedes , Jaguar, Porsche, arena. I have a "comfort zone" with the authorized dealerships that sell those cars. Real or imagined I "feel" they have much to much invested to deal in anything but the best and wholesale that which they don't want to "secondary dealers " So, when I saw the 2020 M\B GLC amg63 at J&S . I hesitated. However I really liked the car, color, interior, mileage, and their price. Frankly, I was very pleased and surprised at there overall inventory when I arrived. Everyone was welcoming and forthright . I purchased the car.The financing and all other interactions were straight forward and no one wasted either parties time. Lastly, I was briefly thinking I would have a PPI, and they were 100% cooperative. "You make the appointment we will bring the car there" I elected not to. They are on my "inventory list" I wish them future success. More

Strange once they had my money customer service went downhill fast. My car was missing an accessory, when I realized I called the salesperson I dealt with. He reassured me about getting it the following day as the dealership was closing by the time I realized. I will spare all the details, but since a part of the accessory was with my car, it was clear that the rest was either stolen or lost because it was clearly there in the pictures of the vehicle online. After being given the run around all day, I was finally told a weak story about it being found at the other lot. What I received contained all the parts including the piece that was with my car, so while having it was great I was even more irritated because that lie could have been told first thing in the morning and saved my day. I should have been more tough about negotiating the price of the car. For whatever reason the sales person I dealt with could not negotiate about price or my trade in value. The sales person actually lied to his manager and what said I was asking for my trade in was a price I'd gotten at another dealership. In fact, it was the number he'd told me a few days earlier, but I went along with it because I didn't have anything to gain by putting him on the spot. I asked a few times about working on the price and wasn't taken seriously. I was in a rush, so in the moment I was not bothered, but in retrospect it's strange.
