I wish we had gone somewhere else where I know we would have gotten a much better car for our money. More
AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COST! I live over 4 hours hours away, so I asked the salesperson to carefully describe the condition of the car. He got a couple things right, but failed to tell me about the hours away, so I asked the salesperson to carefully describe the condition of the car. He got a couple things right, but failed to tell me about the rusted crease in the fender, the multiple dings and scratches ALL OVER the car, the areas where there were huge paint chips, and the fact the inside looked like it had never been cleaned. This is a car that only had 46,000 miles on it, so I expected a 46,000 mile vehicle with maybe a few/minor defects at most. I gave them a deposit over the phone Friday afternoon. I showed up Saturday morning. I didn't even drive the car and told them I wasn't interested. I asked them if they would refund my $100 deposit (to hold the car), and they refused because the sales manager claimed he didn't misrepresent the car and had to tell other customers it was sold. Funny, because when I got there, it was on the lot with the hood and trunk open (like all the other cars on the lot), and I didn't see a "sold" sign anywhere on it. Again, I calmly asked them for a refund, and they refused...and they were very rude about it. When I looked at their inventory on-line the next day, I noticed they had sold the car that same day. I feel really sorry for anyone that buys a vehicle from this dealership. I got the impression they don't do anything to these vehicles before they sell them. More
I would never recommend this dealership to anyone, ever. Poor service and professionalism. When my husband took the car for a test drive he had to put gas in it. To top it all off, the remote start did not work neither did the back right door lock. Brought it in to have it fixed because we bought it like that and Randy was very rude. He accused us of having the car for months before bringing attention to it, but we had not even had it for a month. He is very unprofessional and rude. If you are going to sell a car and would like the customer to return or suggest your dealership maybe you should prepare the cars you sell a lot better than that! If you ever buy from this dealer make sure you do a FULL inspection of the vehicle because they are very dishonest... More
i bought a 01 chevy impala and i have never been so happy with this car...i have heard and read the stories but one thing a person has to remember is they are buying a used car. i have bought cars for a lar with this car...i have heard and read the stories but one thing a person has to remember is they are buying a used car. i have bought cars for a larger dealership and have had the same experiances as some have had with j&r....i would not be afraid to purchase another car from them...thanks guys keep up the good work More
I recently bought an 03' Volkswagen Golf GTi from J & R Auto Sales and the car is perfect! I also checked with a local mechanic and he said the car was in perfect condition. Also Randy was very helpful and Auto Sales and the car is perfect! I also checked with a local mechanic and he said the car was in perfect condition. Also Randy was very helpful and friendly during the whole process of buying the car! I would recommend them to everyone just get the car looked at before you buy it! More
I just bought a 2002 Chrysler 300M Special about 3 weeks ago. Today it left me on the side of the road. Scott was NOT helpful at all. He was going to give me a discount on parts. Right!!! I'm ready to take the car back to them and get my $$$ back, plus what i just put into it for window tinting. And i would if i didn't LOVE it. They DO NOT check these cars out. They don't even change the oil!!! As i'm driving it down the road, i see a puff of smoke and it starts getting hot so i pulled over and got out to take a look. Thank god i grew up in a mechanic shop and know what to look for. My engine is completely wet and dripping. Someone put a stop leak in it, and it finally let go. The antifreeze is coming out of the radiator in a little jet stream. SWEET!!! So why did i give them a bad rating??? Well i boughtthecar 3 weeks ago and still have DEALER plates on it and it broke down. Well i'll just keep it so i don't have to deal with them again. And will NEVER buy a car from J & R Auto ever. They are just lucky that they were nice when i went in to buy it...wait...of course they were they get paid by commission!!! One piece of advise don't piss off a german girl...you will NEVER hear the end of it. Good luck with the cars you buy and don't buy a car from J & R!!! *Shari* More
I have purchased 2 cars for my kids from J&R. I was hesitant about buying either one, but I gave in to my kids to get the cars that they just had to have. Within a couple weeks, the mechanical problem hesitant about buying either one, but I gave in to my kids to get the cars that they just had to have. Within a couple weeks, the mechanical problems starting becoming apparent. I purchased the car for $6k, within 2 years of having this car I have spent probably $5k in repairs to keep it functioning. It was a lemon. About 2 years after purchasing the first car, my next son found his car at this dealership. I was very apprehensive about buying another car from these people, but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and purchased another car for around $6k. Big mistake. Within a week it was having problems that I was getting quotes of $2k to fix. My son has now had the car for about 10 months and have just been told that the engine needs to be replaced after I've already had to replace a string of other things. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM J&R AUTO SALES. More
This is the worst dealership I've ever come to in my life! Due to what is going on in the transmission, our clutch master cylinder was broken - which wasn't covered in the extended warranty - in FACT - NOTHING was covered in the extended warranty. Do NOT go to this dealer. Check the Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.com) before you think you've found a deal - you'll see they've had 3 claims within the last 36 months - soon to be FOUR. More
