Took my Toyota Camry Hybrid in because it would not start. They called to tell me nothing is wrong that my car started just fine, told them to pull it in because my car had to be jumped to get it there start. Told them I would purchase my battery elsewhere and to leave my car parked outside with the windows down and the key inside and I would pick it up after hours because I was babysitting a newborn and couldn’t get the baby out. They told me they would do that. When I went to go get my car, it was locked and parked out back. Luckily I had an extra key. My husband goes to pick my key up this morning and they charged me $77 to test my battery! Seriously a rip off when Auto zone does it for free! Horrible service department! My best friend had an issue there a couple days prior when she got new tires and they took the tires to another shop to have them installed, the other shop broke one of her sensors on her new car, sensors wouldn’t register because they are aftermarket sensors so Toyota couldn’t get them to set so she had to take her car to the tire shop that did the install. Toyota wouldn’t put a Toyota sensor in the car so now she has an aftermarket sensor and 3 Toyota factory sensors. They didn’t care and would not replace the factory sensor that came with her new car! The service dept is spot on. We were a walk in customer with no appointment for routine maintenance. Although each person in the Service Department is customer- oriented, I dealt with Chad to make my appointment. Due to a medical condition, I needed to change my appointment a couple of times. Chad was very patient while I pushed through with my laryngitis. At my appointment, Kalee Simmons was the awesome Assistant Service Manager who helped me throughout my visit. Kalee was very thorough as he explained detailed answers to my questions. J. Pauley Toyota definitely has quality, customer-oriented personnel. I appreciate each of them. More
