On any question i had before we made the 2 hour drive. Once we arrived he was so accommodating - everyone there was so sweet and tolerant of the kids being with. I have never been in a dealership that just happily accepted and entertained the kids! We've never seen a van so well detailed either. We weren't able to get our paperwork done before our credit union closed- so Tim drove our new van from IL to our driveway in WI 2 hours away, swapped the plates and took our trade in back with him! That is the most incredible service ever! It saved us from loading up the kids and doing a long drive again!! We don't churn our vehicles often but we'll visit Tim for sure!! Thank you so much Tim!! Best buying experience ever! We were looking for an experienced but well cared for vehicle for a second car. I discovered Barkau in the internet as they advertized the exact make We were looking for an experienced but well cared for vehicle for a second car. I discovered Barkau in the internet as they advertized the exact make and model that I was looking for. I decided to make a list of internet cars within a 200 mile radius and proceeded to check them all out on a 2 day jaunt. The first day included 7 vehicles that roughly met my criteria. After viewing the final car on my list in the Chicago area and being very disappointed in every car, we decided to check out one at J H Barkau in Cedarville. I had sent an inquiry before this whole trip and had interest in their example, but it was a long drive out of the way. Timothy Border had followed up on my inquiries so I messaged him the last minute to tell of our plans to drop in. From the moment that we arrived we were received with open arms as the vehicle was prepared for us to test drive. What I saw was an immaculate example of what I was looking for. We quickly reached an agreeable price with none of the typical runaround that we had experienced with the prior example elsewhere. What did catch my eye as we were at the store; all the vehicles they had were presented beautifully and it was clear that they had only picked the best of the examples with no hidden issues. The pricing of their cars seemed to be more than fair for the quality. An incredibly welcome relief for us after the Chicago experience! Fast and Easy Process was quick. Took about 2 hours for me to have my new car. I was able to look at cars without being bombarded by salesmen although seeing one o Process was quick. My car did have an engine light on a day after having it but the service center took care of it and replaced part at no cost. My salesperson kept in touch to make sure the problem was corrected and he also ordered me a spare key at no charge which was great. More
