I was told I was getting a $500 down car. That was a lie. I was sold a car with several issues. 1.It is loaded with cockroaches. I've spent $35 on bug bombs to no effect. 2. The fuel mileage is supposed to be over 30 mpg on highway. It's been in the shop twice now and mpg is at 22.7 mpg. I was told that they'd replaced the fuel pump. It's worse now than before it was replaced. 3. The hood keeps popping up. The salesman who sold me the car pointed it out and it's been in the shop twice now for that and it's still happening. 5. I was lied to by the salesman and the manager about the down payment. I was told originally that I was paying $500 down but then the manager told me he was going to knock $500 off the down payment after I'd paid $500 down and was under the impression that was the full amount. They charged me another $500 instead of my first payment. I feel I was deceived and the manager tried to tell me he was helping me. Some other guy from Byrider called me to explain that the manager was indeed helping me. I don't appreciate being misled and treated like a chump. More
