Maybe it is just a Savannah thing The good news is that they got me in and out quickly. I was first in line and was out within an hour. Now the bad news. I was charged $4+ for parts for an air filter change when I supplied the air filter. What other parts are there? Do they automatically replace fasters and screws? Seems like a way to bleed $4 extra out of the customers. Second, the old filter was not returned...not a biggie but this used to be normal. Next: A panel beneath the glove box seems to have come loose during the change and it was not fixed. When I lived in Michigan, my dealer there ran the car through a quick was after EVERY service. Not the case here. The atmosphere at the dealership has a retro feel. Things do not feel or look organized, and the dealership looks like its last facelift was 25+ years ago,. I will return, but only because the next closest dealer is very inconvenient. Maybe that is why JC Lewis feels no need to change things. More
Frustrated I had an appt,which I was told would take 2 to 3hours. I asked for a rental car and was told it wouldn't be long so I waited around. I finally got som I had an appt,which I was told would take 2 to 3hours. I asked for a rental car and was told it wouldn't be long so I waited around. I finally got someone to pick me up around 12.i called back about 130 and was told my car wouldn't be ready until about 5. I went back to jc Lewis then I was told they just opens the box my part was in and it was damaged. So now I'm waiting on another part to come. I think it would of made sence to check the part befor even starting on my car. More

Lewis for over 8 years now and words cannot express their commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Their sales and service are so good that I drive the 40+ miles to go to J.C. Lewis instead of the Ford Dealership in my own town. I called on a Monday and they got both of my vehicles in on Wednesday. My wife and I arrived at the Service Department at 8 am, were promptly greeted, vehicles handed over and then walked across the street for breakfast at the Waffle House. By the time we returned from breakfast, both vehicles were ready to go! More

2014 Explorer Dashboard goes complete blank Two or Three visits to the Service Department and still they are unable to determine what is causing the entire electronic dashboard, navigation, and Two or Three visits to the Service Department and still they are unable to determine what is causing the entire electronic dashboard, navigation, and radio systems to blank out while the vehicle is running.The disappointing part is the Service Department will NOT provide a timeline of activities to find a root cause. They take the vehicle and it sits for two to three days while nothing is being accomplished. And once you call to check on the vehicle they MIGHT move the car to see if the condition is constantly repeatable. Enough of even more waste of my time. I don't completely blame JC Lewis Ford there is the Ford Corp that has produced a defective product and not provided trouble shooting tools to determine where the issue is... hardware, software, wiring, or just poor workmanship quality. More
