Service dept the air conditioning in my 2010 Escape was not working call a week in advance and was given an appointment for 730 the service representative Don was the air conditioning in my 2010 Escape was not working call a week in advance and was given an appointment for 730 the service representative Don was very rude asking several time if my husband was sure we had an appointment then he argued with us that the air was working which it does in the morning before it gets hot then it will not work but instead of listening he tried to make us feel stupid he then told us he would call after he looked at it which he did not we had to call him hours later he then noted on the work order in bold letter with a ! That he recommends regular maintained be preformed I have never missed an oil change or tire rotation on my Escape long story short my car was not repaired due to having to wait for parts and the cost was 1600.00 then he says 1300.00 if I wanted to get ripped off I would have gone to Hinesville Ford. I purchased my Escape at this location and I have up until the warranty ran out was treat great. I will not return to this dealership. More

Started using JC Lewis a few years back after the local Mercury dealer started taking advantage of my lack of knowledge about autos and repairs/servicing. JC Lewis has never recommended repairs that were not needed. refreshing to find an honest dealership. More

My wife and I was visiting Savannnah for the weekend when my car broke down, finally got the car towed to the dealership 1/2 hour before closing time My wife and I was visiting Savannnah for the weekend when my car broke down, finally got the car towed to the dealership 1/2 hour before closing time (2:00) on Saturday and Chase (who I had talked to previously on the phone) got a tech (sorry I don't know his name but was a great guy) right on it and within 45 minutes we were back on the road (which included getting the part delivered from NAPA) the whole service staff stayed late just to help us (strangers) out and was so gracious about it.... thank you again!!! More

We accepted the explanation and decided to use the service dept again. This time my wife called on Monday 6/8 to schedule an oil change. The service rep said that there would be a 2 hour wait and suggested that Tuesday 6/9 would be better and that she would be completed in 1 hour, maximum. She arrived on time Accordingly an appointment was made and my wife arrived on time. The oil change took almost 2 1/2 hours .We have decided not to do business with them. They seem to be unable to realistically estimate their ability to perform in a timely manner. More
Straightforward, honest, professional, clean, well-presented I've trusted this dealership since the first time I brought my car there. I was having slight car trouble, and when they looked it over and found noth I've trusted this dealership since the first time I brought my car there. I was having slight car trouble, and when they looked it over and found nothing wrong with it, they gave it back to me without charging me for the inspection. (Problem turned out to be temporary and non-mechanical.) Since then I've brought it in several times for routine and unexpected maintenance. Recently though, I've become less confident in them. When my exhaust system developed a hole, I took it straight to JC Lewis. They called and told me where the problem was and how much it would cost to repair. My car required a new y-pipe (with catalytic converters) which they said would have to ship from Detroit and would be the majority of the cost. My issue was this: JC Lewis told me the exhaust pipe alone was $2900, but online all of the aftermarket y-pipes I saw were in the $500-700 range (including catalytic converters). This made me suspicious, but I went ahead and paid for the repairs. I still wonder if I couldn't have saved a ton of money by buying the part myself and having a garage install it. I suggest doing research before you bring your car in for any special repairs. More

I now live in Florida, but still use their facility for major repairs and TLC. When it's time to buy again, I will definitely travel to this dealership in Savannah to ensure the best and fairest dealership experience. More
