2014 Explorer Dashboard goes complete blank Two or Three visits to the Service Department and still they are unable to determine what is causing the entire electronic dashboard, navigation, and Two or Three visits to the Service Department and still they are unable to determine what is causing the entire electronic dashboard, navigation, and radio systems to blank out while the vehicle is running.The disappointing part is the Service Department will NOT provide a timeline of activities to find a root cause. They take the vehicle and it sits for two to three days while nothing is being accomplished. And once you call to check on the vehicle they MIGHT move the car to see if the condition is constantly repeatable. Enough of even more waste of my time. I don't completely blame JC Lewis Ford there is the Ford Corp that has produced a defective product and not provided trouble shooting tools to determine where the issue is... hardware, software, wiring, or just poor workmanship quality. More

Unorganized and unresponsive My experience was very frustrating from the time I showed up for my appointment. I was there on time, but there wasn’t anyone available for 20 minute My experience was very frustrating from the time I showed up for my appointment. I was there on time, but there wasn’t anyone available for 20 minutes to ask why I was there. Everyone was either running around or as it appeared, they were keeping their head down so they wouldn’t have to address me. It took three days to fix a simple item, which I understand things take time, but it was very upsetting to me when I was told my vehicle would be ready in the AM and I never received a phone call during the day telling me to come and pick up my vehicle. I had to call at 5pm and I was told it was ready and has been. He said he thought he left me a voice message. I waited all day for my vehicle and kept folks on standby to take me to the dealer. More
Slow Unorganized Disorder I stopped by without an appointment on Tuesday to see if they had time to service my F150. They said they did have time, but it would take a couple of hours. I brought work with me so this was no problem so I left them my truck and went into the waiting area. They called me on my cell phone 2 and a half hours later so I walked down to the service counter. It took them a while to find my keys and then they couldn't find me in their computer either so they said the work was for free this time due to the confusion. I left very happy until I stopped to gas up and noticed my tires hadn't been rotated, my oil was dirty, and my oil filter still had red clay on it from a month before. They let me leave the dealership without even working on my truck. I drove back to the dealership to let them know what had just happened and they apologized and asked if they could have a second chance to make it right. Beyond my better judgment, I said they could make it up on Friday and we made an appointment. I brought it in 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment and still sat in there for over 2 hours before they could finish and oil change and tire rotation. Everyone in the waiting room was complaining about how slow they were. I wasn't extremely upset until I saw two different people that had brought their cars in after me get called up earlier. While I don't remember the names of the service staff I dealt with during these two visits, by looking at the pictures it looks like it was James Godwin (it says sales by his name, but I still think he was who I dealt with on the first visit) and Calvin Turner (second visit). They were both nice and courteous to me and apologized for the issues. I've always known this dealership was slow, but they seem to be getting worse. I've finally decided that I will drive the extra mileage to take my vehicle to Hinesville if I need a dealership to work on it and just let one of the local shops change my oil and do minor stuff for me. More
Great service I needed an oil change and had a coupon and no appointment. Before I got out of car, 2 men were already working on checking my tires depth and pressur I needed an oil change and had a coupon and no appointment. Before I got out of car, 2 men were already working on checking my tires depth and pressure. altogether it took 1 1/2 hours to have the oil changed and everything checked thoroughly. Great job! More

Even the folks who appraised my trade-in came to me and introduced themselves. Everyone was very friendly. Our finance manager was extremely thorough and helpful. He introduced a new form of technology where all documents were done on the biggest tablet I have ever seen!!. It was much less of a headache than previous car buying experiences were. Keep up the great job and I look forward to purchasing another vehicle in the future at JC Lewis Ford. Superior service. More

Customer Service was outstanding I just want to say that I had my car towed to Ford because the battery I thought had died going through my warranty they called Out Bluewater Towing. I just want to say that I had my car towed to Ford because the battery I thought had died going through my warranty they called Out Bluewater Towing. Somehow during the tow my car had acquired grease marks in my car. After contacting Bluewater towing and they refusing to do anything about it I wrote an email to Mgr at JC Lewis Ford about not using Bluewater ever again and the reason for it cause my warranty came with the towing. Mike Offer replied back to me immediately and took care of the situation at hand that I was upset about. I have bought all my cars from there in the last 14 yrs and will continue to do so just because of the outstanding customer service I have received. Chase in the svc dept went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of properly while there on numerous occasions. Thanks so much for the outstanding customer service. Its not often that you come across exceptional customer so when that does happen I like to make sure they are recognized. More
