This employee is rated very low because he lied about the service cost and service provided. I came in because the check engine light was on and I was told a diagnostics charge of $100 would be charged and service cost and service provided. I came in because the check engine light was on and I was told a diagnostics charge of $100 would be charged and if I choose to get it fixed there the $100 diagnostics charge would apply to the repair charge. When Steven came back I was told a diagnostic but I was told the required parts weren’t in and would have to be ordered and it may or may not fix the problem. Steven then told me the cost to fix the issue would be $250 and my $100 diagnostic charge wouldn’t apply. Although, he said it would before he saw the car, I was told I would have to pay $350 for a service engine clean. I ended up spending $100 on a mis-diagnostic because the very next day I took my car to the Lexus dealership and was told my engine light was on because my oil change was due. I had them to check the diagnostics that Toyota gave me and was told that was completely wrong. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to Allen Toyota after my experience with Steven Conquergood. I didn’t appreciate the way he talked down to me and he was rude and very unconcerned about helping me out with my problem. Not to mention he told me several different lies about my car and warranty information. More

I have called the company to fix it, but ran out of time and still have to call them back to fix it. Looks like it might take me a while to stay on the line with them long enough to get it fixed. Kinda disappointed that I was told if I had any problems that Toyota service would take care of me, but on my first time in they did not. Everyone was friendly, but no solution to my problem. More

The service department at this dealer is absolutely horrendous. It's a joke. I go there with problems with my vehicle and they come back saying they couldn't repeat the problem. I waited 18-20 months (46000 miles) with 5 or more request to get resolution to a problem with my 2012 Sequioa purchased at Allen Toyota. Some of the request never showed up on the work order, which gave me the impression that I was not being taken seriously or the service people were not trained well? The engine has missed since 5000 miles, so there was no alternative except to go to Toyota direct with the problem. Once I expressed this sentiment in a phone call with the dealership back in December or January, I was informed that Toyota would be contacted and they offered a solution. This did not fix it, so we went back in March and the fuel pump was replaced, presumably a Toyota recommendation. We are now testing this fix to see if it worked, time will tell. The satisfaction we have received from service is the relationship with Will Johnson. Once we began working exclusively with Will 4 or 5 months ago, we got on a path toward resolution and hopefully this last part replacement will be the end. It seems to me as a business owner, that dealing with a loyal customer with a new purchase, would have made the importance of fixing this problem a high priority, instead it lingered for 18 months. The fuel pump being defective, it seems like, should have been an easy check from the beginning. This is my families 9th Toyota and 4th purchased from Allen Toyota. Needless to say it has been a major disappointment, not to mention the gas I have wasted with the engine not running as designed. More
Allen Toyota is a dealership I know I can trust to do the best job possible for me as they take care of my vehicle to keep it running in top condition for as long as I have it. Will Johnson in particular, was friendly, courteous and professional to work with. He made sure I was comfortable while waiting for my car to be serviced, went over everything that had been done to my car and the results of the tests that were run and walked me over to the cashier. By the time I finished there, he had already scheduled my next service appointment and had my appointment card waiting. The dealership showroom was clean and relaxing with fresh coffee and popcorn available along with a relaxing aquarium or television to watch in the sitting area. Very relaxing, making waiting for my car to be serviced a pleasant experience. I highly recommend Allen Toyota to anyone in the market for a new or used car! More
