Freddy and Steve were both very professional and helpful. I owned a 2003 Mercedes-Benz and was in the market for a new car. I was looking for a Mazda. Island Mazda was recommended by a friend of mine who had I owned a 2003 Mercedes-Benz and was in the market for a new car. I was looking for a Mazda. Island Mazda was recommended by a friend of mine who had gotten her car at this dealership. When I walked in, I was looking at their Mazda 3 sedan. Freddy walked over, asked how we were doing, and asked if we needed help. Sure enough, we did, and let me tell you, I could not have had a more professional, funny, and helpful car dealer. Freddy was great and he helped me find a Mazda 3 at the price that was right for me. Steve was also extremely helpful to me and my family as well. I could not have been happier with either of them. So long as I live and breath, and own a Mazda, this will be the dealership that I go to. More

Ripped off Recently brought my car in for a standard oil change and tire rotation. The service advisor came up to me and showed me a picture that my wheels were Recently brought my car in for a standard oil change and tire rotation. The service advisor came up to me and showed me a picture that my wheels were crooked and I needed a wheel alignment. The car is only 2 years old with 8000 miles on it so not driven frequently. I never noticed any issues while driving nor asked for them to check this but he talked me into getting the wheel alignment anyway. I also wanted a full detail done on the car which costs close to $200. When I got the car back I found i received a regular car was outside and some cleaning of the interior. No wax job which I expected. My wheels and rims were still dirty. There were streaks all over with many parts not fully cleaned. They didn't even attempt to remove sticker residue from the windshield which i ended up getting off myself in 5 minutes with alcohol. For $200 I expected much more. I've gotten it done there before and the last time they did a wonderful job. This time was not worth the expense at all and I had to finish cleaning it inside and outside myself. This was definitely not a true detail job. I also do not feel any difference driving and believe they tricked me into getting a wheel alignment that I didn't need. My fiance was a mechanic for 15 years and also said there was no way I needed an alignment and doesn't even believe the picture he showed me was of my car. Last but not least, the service writer also said he would check my infotainment to see if it needed an update (under warranty) and I don't think that was done either. Definitely one of the worse experiences at this dealership for me and feel completely ripped off by at least $300. More
Overall friendly and professional I was referred to Island Mazda by a friend whom had previously bought a car there and highly recommended a salesman they had worked with named Freddy I was referred to Island Mazda by a friend whom had previously bought a car there and highly recommended a salesman they had worked with named Freddy Bosco. I was initially in touch with him over the phone. I explained to Freddy that I had recently leased a car that was not working out for me and that I was interested in either financing or leasing an new car providing we could work out a termination of my current lease. Over the phone Freddy was very friendly and open and suggested I come in and test drive a vehicle I could be comfortable with. I went to Island Mazda the following morning and found Freddy to be very personable and receptive. We discussed the vehicle I was interested in and did something that many dealerships seem to be moving away from; we took a good true test drive. I appreciated that I could drive the car I was interested in purchasing (my choice was the CX-9 Touring model) over different road surfaces. It helped me come to a easier decision when considering it and later deciding to purchase it. The sales manager Stephen Chandler introduced himself and welcomed me. He was very informative and although I had come into this negotiation underwater due to my early exit from my previous lease, Stephen made the transaction seamless. My overall experience at Island Mazda was a positive one with high marks to the salesman Freddy and Stephen the manager. More
