"Professional & Kind" Ok I've been a Lessee for the Last 9 yrs. 3 of which was an RDX 13'. I had planned to keep this Beautiful Crossover. While visiting the Service Depar Ok I've been a Lessee for the Last 9 yrs. 3 of which was an RDX 13'. I had planned to keep this Beautiful Crossover. While visiting the Service Department, I peaked in to say hello to Kevin Lawrence (My Sales Agent) and of cause 3 years Later He was Just as Kind as he was when we first meet. I told him what I was thinking coming to the end of my lease and he advised my. No Pressure, No Sales Tactics and all that other Drama that we all have experienced at Dealerships! What I love most about Kevin is that He listen to me….and then the Advise comes and I can go home and think about what we discussed. Yesterday I Drove out in my New 2015 RDX, So Excited!! Ladies Feel Comforted that even thou the Dealer has a Lot of Men working, they Make you Feel like Family and Handle you with Much Respect!!!!! My service experience I called in the morning and said I needed an oil change and I was told from Joey Robinson to bring it right down. Great Dealership Island Acura was the only car dealership that I ever felt comfortable with when buying a car. The staff did a great job educating me on the vehicle an Island Acura was the only car dealership that I ever felt comfortable with when buying a car. The staff did a great job educating me on the vehicle and its options. When it came to price, they were very fair and were not pushy in trying to upgrade. In the end, I got the vehicle I wanted at a reasonable price without wasting much time. Island Acura is not like those large corporate dealers; their employees make sure you are comfortable with your decision and do not hit you with "hidden fees"! More

Lied by the Service Rep Went to Island Acura to get my car fixed. The service rep Joe Thompson helped me and was unfriendly to begin with. I explained to him the problem and Went to Island Acura to get my car fixed. The service rep Joe Thompson helped me and was unfriendly to begin with. I explained to him the problem and also told him that I have been applying a "temporary" fix, however, I brought the car here to get it fixed permanently. Sure enough they applied the same temporary fix that I did and he warned me not to use that feature otherwise I will do permanent damage to the car. That was his way of discouraging me from testing it. When I tested it in the lot and told him the car wasn't fixed, he was quick to offer me a refund and told me that I shouldn't have tested it because I will do permanent damage to the car. I explained to him that I don't intend to use that feature daily but I should at least be able to try it once to make sure it was fixed. He wasted 2 hours of my time and trying to con me out of $75 for the same fix I had told him I perform in 2 minutes. He never admitted to his lie and just told me that he hasn't charged me on my way out. He also lied to me on the phone because he had answered the phone when I scheduled the appointment and explained the problem to him. More
