I have had many experiences with dealership service for past vehicles including Volvos, Dodge Trucks, and Jeep Wranglers. As I have to drive over 50 minutes for service, the staff is always sensitive to the fact that I have to wait for the service and expedites the process as quickly as they can. During the service process, I am also always informed of unanticipated problems that may be found and I am asked if I would like to have them addressed. There are never any suprises. On a whim I stopped by Irwin on my way back from a work related field trip to look over the RAV 4s. Rick John made his way over to where I was admiring the vehicles and asked if he could assist. I told him what I was looking for and what I had to offer as a trade in---a VW Jetta diesel that I really enjoyed but could no longer get serviced where I purchased it. He said he could have a couple of vehicles in a couple of days that would fill my request. I wanted a tow package, rain shields over the windows,and mud flaps as extras. On Saturday I arrived and as promised found two vehicles that met my specifications. Without even testing the 4 cylinder, I chose the 6. The wait time for the paperwork was long but nowhere near as long as other dealerships and I left with my new ride the same day. I am so very happy with the RAV. On service visits if I see Rick, he takes time for conversation as do the other service providers. I would highly recommend Irwin not only for fairness in trade but in their great customer service.
