There was no pressure into buying the car. The car was immaculately detailed and clean. The price was below Blue Book value. I was working with Rick John for many months before I was able to purchase my new 2011 Toyota Sienna, he was wonderful to work with throught the whole process I had lots of questions and wanted certain thing able to purchase my new 2011 Toyota Sienna, he was wonderful to work with throught the whole process I had lots of questions and wanted certain things and he was always there to help me get the answers. He always returned my phone calls and emails. I had asked him the best possible price for the vehicle and he was honest and beat all the other dealers. What a joke. First they send an email telling me all the things they don't do when quoting prices that "other" dealers do, like include rebates (in my case optional) in the price and add on paperwork fees a things they don't do when quoting prices that "other" dealers do, like include rebates (in my case optional) in the price and add on paperwork fees after. They say (about the other dealers) "Not only has the dealership presented an unrealistic price, but the dealership has wasted an individual's valuable time." Then they send me a price. When I respond they tell me they made a mistake and need to add $500 for the rebate (if I choose the lower interest rate option), and that the doc fee will be $299, so add $800 to the initial price. Then they send me a choice of three cars at the new price. I pick one and confirm the understanding. The next day they get back to me and tell me they messed up again, and need to add an additional nearly $1000 to the price. So the original quote went up by $1800 in about 24 hours. Never again. They deserve a bill for my time wasted as they jerked me around. More
My daughter and I bought a 2011 Rav4 from Irwin Toyota and we had the best buying experience I have ever had purchasing a car. Rick John was our sales associate and he went out of his way to ensure we where satisfied. After we arrived home, I found we had paid a couple hundred more than we had talked about in our e-mails. Rick checked our previous e-mails and agreed. He quickly issued a refund for that amount. How many Dealerships do you know would do this after the sale was complete. I will be buying all my vehicles from Irwin and Rick in the future. More
I highly recommend Irwin Zone. Their service department is excellent. When I call they can schedule an appointment immediately and give me an accurate cost estimate. They complete service issues in a timely manner and give you a print out of your vehicle's overall condition/performance at the end of the appointment. I would like to tell you that in many, many years of dealing with car sales people, I have never met someone as easy to work with and as willing to please as Rick. He did an extraordinary job of pursuing leads to find what I had requested and met the challenge. He is truly a professional in customer service and is a model for expressing honesty and sincerity not only in person but his voice mail message. Thoughtout my career, I have been a customer service representative in some capacity or another so it is easy to recognize someone a notch above the rest. More
