I'm in the market for a jeep grand cherokee, I see that irwin has at least 4 used for sale in price range, style and mileage I'm looking for online,next I inquire on the one I'm most interested in, Louisa irwin has at least 4 used for sale in price range, style and mileage I'm looking for online,next I inquire on the one I'm most interested in, Louisa tells me " great news that car is available would you like to make an appointment with one of sales specialist to see the car" sounds great so far right, quick response ,car is available, I'm making an appointment, here's where things go south, I make appointment for next day at 3 pm as I'm 2 hours away, all set get my confirmation and I'm off to check out the car, my husband and I arrive on time and are looking for Louisa to see who our sale person is,we meet this guy coming out of dealership who is pleasant enough and asks us what brings us to irwin, we explain Louisa has set us up with an appointment, he then tells me Louisa is the online specialist and isn't there and brings me back to his desk, asks me for the car I'd number, which I go back to my texting coorspondence and find the number,he tells me that car sold today, mmmmm, ok that might have happened so I ask to see the other three , he leaves us for a good 10 minutes and comes back with another guy and one set of keys, we are told there is only one grand cherokee on the lot, so we follow the guy outside, he takes to something that shocked both of us, the car he was showing us was damaged, the rims and tires looked liked tuna cans opened with a full knife, the inside was cloth interior was full of dirt and smelled of stale cigarettes, I drive 2 hours to be shown this? The man kept apologizing to us and was very embarrassed so we just looked at him and said this is not what we drive two hours for and that we were very dissatisfied as you can imagine and drove away to hopefully a better run dealership that knows how to treat customers More

Research on the online pricing made it clear these were rock bottom prices. Explanations throughout the buying process were clear from the salesperson to the finance person. More

What can i say that makes my 2 hr. Drive to Irwin’s of Laconia worthwhile... During these trying times for everyone, we all must suffer or endure in one way shape or form, so I suppose I’ll just start wit Laconia worthwhile... During these trying times for everyone, we all must suffer or endure in one way shape or form, so I suppose I’ll just start with the beginning. A friend of mine announced to me that my long awaited 2020 Ford Tremor with the new 7.3 Gas engine was gracing their lot waiting for me to come take a look at it. I reached out to Irwins via email and i had a return email and a call back in less than an hour. It was confirmed that the vehicle of my interest was still there and we scheduled a day and time for me to look at it. Upon my arrival for my viewing appointment i was greeted promptly after entering and asked if i needed any help. Seamus McNally was quick to figure why i was there and i was test driving the 2020 Ford Tremor in less than 3 min! Ive never got into a test drive this fast anywhere, so i took it out, loved it, came back... simple enough. Upon returning i re-entered the dealership and Seamus spotted me and brought me to his desk to discuss if a deal would happen. We ultimately agreed on a reasonable trade in value for my vehicle which was actually higher than NADA value and i was obviously ok with that. I already expected to roll negative equity into this current sale but it was nice to know they weren’t trying to lowball my trade in. Now the following shouldn’t be considered the normal operations or wait times, or atleast I wouldn’t think so. Due to this CoVID 19 pandemic all businesses are struggling. Irwin’s was functioning with a small skeleton crew of 50% staff. The coffee pots were off, and no refreshments. All of this is understood on my behalf, it was just a bummer... who doesn't love the free coffee. But I digress my experience with Seamus was nothing short of fantastic. He’s not pushy, he’s not arrogant, and he’s not full of crap. Seamus was in my opinion a down to earth individual with a very unique personality that was enjoyable. This was a good thing because i was there for what felt to me to be an eternity. After we finished going back and forth we agreed on the numbers and i moved into the finance office. From there it was just paperwork and understanding what you were signing. The financial individual that worked with me... unfortunately his name escapes me, was also a pleasure. Although the paperwork came quick he did take the time to fully address any questions that i had asked, he didn’t sluff me off and say just sign here. So for both of these gentlemen and the Dealership itself i rate them at 5 stars with two thumbs up. The CoVID19 virus can screw off... it ruined a Simple process. In closing i will say it should be mentioned that Seamus let me borrow a vehicle to go get a quick bite to eat and some Coffee. He didn’t have to but he did... good looking out Seamus! More
