Called Desiree to test drive an Ascent. She was super helpful as was everyone else in there. Frank took me out in the car and another salesperson was helpful in answering my questions about different tri helpful as was everyone else in there. Frank took me out in the car and another salesperson was helpful in answering my questions about different trim levels. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly friendly and helpful even though I was definitely not making a purchase that day. I always appreciate when salespeople are helpful without being incredibly pushy. Inventory is low and they’d have good reason to be annoyed by someone test driving without the intent to purchase but they never made me feel rushed or like I was wasting their time. Appreciate everyone at this dealership for their time and help! More
This is hands down one of the worst dealers I have ever seen and would give them a 0! I want to make sure everyone knows my experience so you can avoid making a possible mistake. My dad and I both purchase seen and would give them a 0! I want to make sure everyone knows my experience so you can avoid making a possible mistake. My dad and I both purchased 2020 Subaru Outback Limited cars from Irvine Subaru in December 2020. While Jake was great from the sales, the service team and service manager are flat-out horrible! If anything, what they did was illegal! I have heard horror stories from dealers, but never in my life did I expect to be part of one. Sadly, I went through this at the dealership. Around 4000 miles into owning my car, a virus or bug was downloaded through the automatic update system through Subaru. It caused my dashboard and display to glitch out and reset while driving. Eventually, it became so bad that the automatic braking system went off randomly. I brought it in to the dealership several times and each time I was told on the papers, "No problems found." It finally got to the point where it became such a safety issue that I brought it in again and told them they better fix it on the 4th time. Still, they listed "No problems found." I finally had no choice but had to get an attorney to give me advice. I warned the dealership and the manager and they finally took in the car. I was then notified by one of the techs that my car was one of 200 cars that had the bug downloaded into my system. They ended up replacing the entire dashboard and one other sensor in the car. Sadly, it did not fix the issues. The bug ended up circulating through the electrical system and started frying one sensor after another. I kept everything and kept a daily journal due to having family owning an insurance company. I have had over 50hrs and 30 visits to the dealership in one year. 22 of those visits are to Irvine Subaru and each time they kept saying "no problems found" or my car is not designed to handle the Samsung Note 20. The music will cut out, my phone will lose connection, air conditioning was a heater and blank screen. I can't even speak into the bluetooth setup or make a call on the system. My family has 4 different phones so when I kept telling them the phone is not the problem they ignored me. I even offered to show the front desk people the video evidence and refused to see it. Noal and the European woman were the worst! I have that even on one of the dealer forms! It got so bad and became such an issue I sent my problems to 2 attorney firms. They all called me back in 24hrs and said I definitely have a case here and easily could prove negligence by the dealer. I was informed to take my car to two dealerships nearby and see what they do. The one which was amazing didn't even need the video evidence. The head mechanic asked to keep it for a week which I said yes. I got a call on the third day from the mechanic telling me how it was one of the worst cars he's seen from an electrical issue! He then asked me for the full story and I told him everything. The other dealership ended up working with Subaru USA and by the end I had over 1hr of video evidence showing how Irvine Subaru was lying. The mechanic from both dealerships told me they did not miss this and that they just didn't want to deal with it. By the end, Subaru McKenna did try and 8 sensors, 2 head unites were replaced on the car. Finally, I got a call from the VP of Subaru USA apologizing for my car and how they wanted to buy back my car right away. I then found out also that Subaru Irvine never reached out to Subaru USA for help!! I did the buyback sadly at Irvine which the manager was a piece of work and was lying through his teeth. I showed the buyback person how many service forms I had and he was even like, "well this is going to court." I sent over all my evidence and the one attorney and I agreed on a setup. I don't believe in suing, but Irvine Subaru left me no choice. Now I will be taking Subaru Irvine to court. Be warned everyone, Subaru Irvine only cares about sales, not fixing your car! The horrible reviews are definitely true!!! More
The service department of this Subaru dealership is just excellent. After getting services for my two Foresters since 2015, I won't go anywhere else for auto service anymore. All the staff I interacted with at this dealership were extremely friendly and helpful. I knew which car I wanted before I arrived and was pre-approved. I have had 6 transactions with Subaru of Irvine and they have everything ready with the lowest deal possible and I'm done within 60 minutes with no BS. I would recommend them! Communicated via email with "Sales manager" Mehta. Did not even bother to response when offered a reasonable price for the Forester. Like they say there are honest car salesman and a subpar one. Having owned many Subarus, I am genuinely impressed by his level of attention to detail and his high level of customer service. He went above and beyond in the service of my 2013 WRX. He treated me like family and I wouldn't hesitate to service my vehicle anywhere else but there. Thank you, Sebastian and the service team! -Kayvon Larry More

We got be This car dealership gets 1 star because they had he car my dad wanted. But it was THE worst customer service I’ve ever seen in a dealership. We got better treatment at used car dealers than this place. And i am referring to the floors sales people all the way up to the managers. I know your cars sell like hot cakes but at least TRY to provide good customer service. We saw other sales people trying to hide available cars for their own customers (out of state, they said) from our sales person assisting us so they could get the commission while we were physically present and ready to purchase a car. Managers expressing frustration over this to us (not professional). Sales people and managers being short with us and not able to answer our questions about the cars they sell. How can you not know about your own vehicles?! That’s your one job... The only person that spoke to us nicely and helped us learn more about the cars was a mechanic who went out on a test drive with us because every other sales person was too busy. We wanted him to get the commission but unfortunately he didn’t. My dad got a car here because he really wanted it but I wish he got it somewhere else. ALSO they filed the paperwork wrong and my dad did NOT get his carpool fast pass sticker because they put in the paperwork that it was a “gas car” and not a “hybrid car”. So he had to wait a couple more months for it when he bought the car specifically for the sticker to drive far for work everyday. Come on. As if I need to say this: we won’t be back. Nor will we recommend this dealership to anyone. More

I called Si I took my 2018 Subaru in 3 times to replace the radio which blacked out. The first time they replaced it my SiriusXM Radio did not work. I called Sirius and they told me the Radio ID belonged to another person. Subaru put someone else's radio in my new Subaru. I took it back and they said they put a new radio in and fixed it. I spent an hour on the phone with Sirius Radio. I took it in a 3rd time and waited 2 hours and they told me they were replacing my radio with a new radio. After 2 hours I looked up the radio ID and it was the same radio. When I called they said they did not replace the radio and the service manager promised to call me back with an explanation - my friend witnessed the conversation - they never called me back. So confused I gave up. The 4th time I went to the dealer for service: I took my car in for service and they always walk around the car to mark any dings or dents. My car did not have any. When my service was done I jumped in my car and did not walk around to check it (my fault). I made one stop on my way home and noticed a large 5 inch scrape on my bumper. I was so upset since I am always so careful with my car. I gave up because I knew they would deny it and since they lied about my radio I did not have confidence that they would admit fault. My advice is do not go to this dealership. Look up other reviews - they are all not good. I'm sorry to leave this but the scrape on the bumper was the last straw! (I gave 5 stars for friendliness - they are friendly but not honest) More
