About two weeks ago my wife and I went to Orleand Toyota to service our car. All we wanted to do was a 80,000 mile service, before we knew it they were trying to sell me all types of fluid flushes. I know m to service our car. All we wanted to do was a 80,000 mile service, before we knew it they were trying to sell me all types of fluid flushes. I know my vehicle and the conditions of the fluids, they did not need to be changed. After the service was complete we went home. Two days later my check engine light comes on, not sure what it is I have my vehicle towed to Toyota.I will NEVER go back there again! I had to go back to the dealer 3 times for the same repair "Check Engine Light" and to top it off I had to pay twice for their mistakes. The service manager told me that he would personally take care of the repair the first time i brought the car back. Now with my check engine light on AGAIN, I brought the car back for the third time, they fixed it. Apparently the third time is the charme. A person like my wife and I at our age and fixed income can not afford the "certified" mistakes of others. With over $850.00 and three trips back to Orleans Toyota my vehicle is now fixed. I WILL NEVER TAKE MY TOYOTA BACK TO ORLEANS TOYOTA! And if you decide to go, dont belive a word that Dan fellow says. More
Extremely unhappy with the sales person above. Wanted sell my car he would not give me the price unless I return the keys that day. He pretty much showed me to door and said come back when you are ready sell my car he would not give me the price unless I return the keys that day. He pretty much showed me to door and said come back when you are ready to sell. When I want to buy a car they give me price right away even though I decide to walk away.. Why not when I sell my car.. I have gone to 3 more Toyota dealers and each of them helped me out but not Orleans Toyota.. Very poor customer service.. Very disappointed.. Will never go there again. More
I went for my 50,000 mile service and told them I also had a tire losing air ~ thought maybe I had bumped a curb?? When I went to pick my car up at the end of the day, they told me I needed 2 new tires. M had a tire losing air ~ thought maybe I had bumped a curb?? When I went to pick my car up at the end of the day, they told me I needed 2 new tires. My tires only have 17,000 miles on them. I listened to a message they had left on my cell saying that two of my tires had "slashed sidewalls and were leaking". I wanted them to show me the damage. Shawn pointed to something that was a cosmetic nick in the front tire. They said it was the back tire that they had rotated to the front ~ the one that was losing air before .... I said "No way do I need tires." I paid my bill. They charged me for tire rotation, etc. ~ $60. I drove to Firestone. They confirmed that not only was that nick cosmetic, but they also squirted my nicked tire with soapy water. It wasn't leaking any air. While still at Toyota Shawn tried to prove my tires were leaking air, so he brought a gauge out to test the front passenger tire: 27.9 ~ he said it had already lost 5 pounds of pressure. I asked him to come test the AP in the driver's side. He said, "We want to stay on one side." HUH??? (They were trying to sell me 2 passenger side tires) I forced him to come test the driver's side AFTER SERVICE: 24 POUNDS!!!!!! I made Shawn bring the car back in and fill the tires. They hadn't put any air in my tires. I later found out they did not even rotate them, though they charged me for rotation. Took the car home on my tires. Dave came out next day because I complained. He tested my tire pressure: They were all holding air just fine .... except the initial tire I had told them was soft when I dropped the car off. It was down to 17 lbs.! Dave took my car in and let me watch. THERE WAS A NAIL IN THE BACK TIRE. They hadn't rotated, they just tried to sell me a tire predicated on the fact that my rear tire was losing air. They never even looked at it or they would have seen the NAIL!!!!!!!! In the meantime, I HAD TO DRIVE IN THE DARK, ON MY TIME WHICH TURNED INTO AN HOUR AND A HALF, BACK TO ORLEANS (QUITE A DISTANCE) WHILE DAVE ROTATED MY TIRES BECAUSE THEY HAD NOT DONE WHAT I PAID THEM FOR. My LEAKING tire got patched. All of my tires are fine and not losing any air. THOSE SERVICE PEOPLE ARE LIARS. I have the sleazeball desk person right on my voice mail saying, "You need two new tires. The sidewalls are slashed in both of them, probably from hitting a curb. I have had two tire places look at my tires and tell me they are fine. When I went the next day to talk to the manager, a salesman told me he was out back on the phone with Dave and he would be out to see me shortly. I waited 10 minutes. Next, a guy comes out and says, "The manager isn't in today." I said , "Someone just told me he was on the phone with Dave." Next I was told, "Oh, he doesn't know who the manager is. He's new." It didn't set right with me. He knew who Dave was, but he doesn't know the manager, yet he works there? The manager was trying to hide from me. I was treated like I'm an idiot all around. I have bought my vehicles from Subaru every 2 years for many many years. I switched to Toyota in 2005 and planned to continue with them. My car is paid off. I have only gone to them for service. Now I do not trust them from the head down. I am so disgusted I don't have adequate words! More
I purchased a new Tundra in Oct 2007 from Ken Robinson. I have purchased over 20 vehicles during my lifetime, and have also sold Chevrolets. I have never had a more pleasant experience in dealing with Ken. I have purchased over 20 vehicles during my lifetime, and have also sold Chevrolets. I have never had a more pleasant experience in dealing with Ken. I would absolutely come to Orleans Toyota again when in the market for another vehicle. Although, this may be some time off because my Tundra just turned 45000 miles and the way it is running I feel that I will get 200000-300000 miles anyway. I would like however to hear back from someone if they could find me a replacement front license plate frame, as the one which came with the truck has broken due to car wash brushes tearing at the plate. I believe Toyota makes a metal one which might hold up better. I will leave my e-mail onfo below. Again, thanks to Ken and the rest of the Orleans stall. Richard Carlson More
I took my 2009 Prius in for its 90K mile service - it was working fine up till that point. The day after I got it back, $550 dollars later, my check engine and tire pressure lights came on - then the light t working fine up till that point. The day after I got it back, $550 dollars later, my check engine and tire pressure lights came on - then the light that is just an outline of a car with an exclamation point on it. I called and was told the car wasn't going to break down, so I could keep driving it. I should just check my tires. Hello? 3 hours later the lights went off. Then my car started making little clicking/screeching noises AND it sounded like water was running under my dash every time I accelerated from a stop or turned a corner. The third time the lights came on and went off, I decided to just trade it in and be done. I didn't go to Orleans, though! More
Dealership is clearly trying to scam customers into purchasing unnecessary "services". "Technician" brought out "fluid samples" that were supposedly from my vehicle, but clearly did not match what was purchasing unnecessary "services". "Technician" brought out "fluid samples" that were supposedly from my vehicle, but clearly did not match what was in my car. When confronted with my questions to visually see the samples collected from my car, manager claimed that the technician provided samples from another vehicle by accident. Poor way of covering tracks. This place is no different than any xxxxxxx private shop, they are out to get your money any ways possible..honest or not. Two thumbs down. More
