I showed up for my oil change appointment which I made the day before, informing the service representative that I’d be waiting for my car. He said no problem and advised that there is coffee and WiFi and that it shouldn’t take too long. Upon arrival for my appointment, I was told that the wait would be 2 and a half hours. I advised the staff that I told the representative that I’d be waiting for my car and that there must be some mistake. He told me that there were unforeseen safety issues with vehicles that arrived that morning that need to be tended to before they get to my vehicle. I left and made an appointment with my usual mechanic. This is not the first issue I’ve had with Ira and reinforces why I do not use them. I later spoke with a manager who told me they were short staffed due to illnesses. Very different than “unforeseen safety issues.” Again, reinforcing why I choose to use other service providers. More
