I showed up for my oil change appointment which I made the day before, informing the service representative that I’d be waiting for my car. I advised the staff that I told the representative that I’d be waiting for my car and that there must be some mistake. He told me that there were unforeseen safety issues with vehicles that arrived that morning that need to be tended to before they get to my vehicle. I left and made an appointment with my usual mechanic. This is not the first issue I’ve had with Ira and reinforces why I do not use them. I later spoke with a manager who told me they were short staffed due to illnesses. Very different than “unforeseen safety issues.” Again, reinforcing why I choose to use other service providers. Service stinks, everytime I go for an oil change I’m told I’ll be out of there in an hour. The last 2 times it was 3 hours and today was over 2 hours. I requested a shuttle knowing they are notorious for l I’ll be out of there in an hour. The last 2 times it was 3 hours and today was over 2 hours. I went in to have the battery replaced. This is a 15 minute job which I've done myself in the past. I waited for over two hours before I got my vehicle back. Apparently they did an all points check which I never authorized and found additional work they said needed to be done. They said I needed to replace the engine coolant and replace the trailer arms. I declined the work. I went home and did some research. My owners manual says the engine coolant needs to be replaced at 100,000 miles; my vehicle has only 75,000 miles on it. The engine coolant is clean. There is no issue with it. I research trailer arms and they apparently rarely fail and when they do the cost to replace them is between $360 and $430. I was given a quote of $1300 to replace both arms. This dealership is crooked and should be avoided at all costs. I will never take my vehicle here again. I purchased my vehicle here but when it comes time to replace this vehicle, I will not be using this dealership in my shopping plans More
