My wife made an appointment to bring in her RAV4 for two issues: 1) state safety inspection; 2) to resolve some strange messages she was seeing on the display screen. She had to wait two hours to get the issues: 1) state safety inspection; 2) to resolve some strange messages she was seeing on the display screen. She had to wait two hours to get the inspection done. Instead of keeping to the appointment schedule, the service department was taking drive-ins, without appointments, ahead of those with appointments. If you aren't going to honor those appointment times, then why have people make appointments. Doing this is rude and disrespectful to those that thought ahead and scheduled time. Alex, the service consultant had no interest in helping to solve the problem with the strange messages. After two hours, my wife left in disgust. We have least 12 cars from Ira over the past 20 years. This is how a good customer gets treated. I will have to tackle the strange messages myself because Ira's crack service team didn't want to take the time to look at a one year old vehicle with less that 3,000 miles on it. So much for two years of free maintenence. My car's lease is up in 13 months. I guess we will be talking to another dealership. For certain, when the RAV4 lease it up in two years, my wife will not be talking to anyone in Ira. More
I went in for a diagnostic check on my car, and the experience was really disappointing. Once they saw my car was older, the attitude completely changed. Well organized and clean service area. Comfortable waiting area with snacks and beverages. I always work from there so am happy if I can plug in my computer and/or phone charger too.
