I drive 100 miles to / from work each day and my beloved 2000 Cherokee has served me well. At 266,000 miles and with nothing wrong with it I had planned to keep it for three more years. But fuel is expensive and I figured out that at today's fuel prices, improving my mpg would essentially pay for a new vehicle. So I did my research and selected Prime Toyota where Tim Simpson worked hard to arrange a 3-door Yaris for me. What a remarkable vehicle! I'm only on my fourth tank of fuel and so far my average mileage has been greater than 45mpg. I wonder what it will be once the engine is broken in. I'm definitely amazed and grateful that my expectations for fuel savings have been exceeded. And this vehicle continues to surprise me each time I drive it. Forget what its outside dimensions are because this Yaris is huge on the inside. From the driver's seat, it's considerably wider and taller and more comfortable than what I had been driving and even the rear leg room is much greater even when I've moved the front seats all the way back. And what a remarkable dealership: Tim and Jason and Leigh Ann and Ira worked together to ensure that my transaction went smoothly and quickly. No surprises, no problems, and absolutely no pressure. I've been in sales for 15 years so I, too, could use those same sales and decision-encouragement tools towards them but from the very first moment we met, Tim honored me with respect and courtesy. For that, I'm especially grateful and I will joyfully return to purchase my next vehicle from him. In closing, I highly recommend that anyone in southern Maine or New Hampshire who's considering a Toyota visit Prime Toyota. Tim and his colleagues are first-rate and I'm glad to have had this chance to work with them. More
Ramzi is the best car salesman I have ever dealt with. He breaks the stereo-type that car salesman can't be trusted and are out to get you. He worked with me to find the right car. Actually I thought I had the right vehicle and then Ramzi said he didn't like the report it got after being examined by the service garage and told me I shouldn't buy the vehicle. We then searched for another vehicle that turned out to be better than the first and he made the loan process as smooth as possible. I recommend Ramzi to everyone I know and I also tell them they can learn the art of sales by watching and listening to him. Working in the service industry I can appreciate someone who goes out of their way for you and that is Ramzi all the way!!! More
I had a very good experience at Prime and would recommend them to anyone looking for a car. I visited all of their dealerships in saco but ultimately chose Prime Toyota only because I prefered a Camry over o them to anyone looking for a car. We were more than pleasantly surprised by the experience we had at Prime Toyota in Saco, ME. From the greeting we received when we arrived, to the friendliness of all the employees to the various specialists that we dealt with, it was one positive experience after another. Liz Wallis is an exceptional salesperson. She and I had been emailing back and forth and she always got back to me with answers to any questions I had and appropriate suggestions and ideas to suit our needs. My husband and I are both in sales and recognize what an attribute she is to Prime Toyota. She is not a "turn off hard sell" salesperson, but rather one who has a wealth of knowledge in her product and in dealing with people that is certainly a welcomed sight. I would definitely say we have been "converted" because of our experience with Liz and Prime Toyota and I look forward to our next purchase with Liz one which we have already spoken about. We dealt with Mr. Karam (Ramzi) on two occasions. Once to buy our daughter a used car several years ago and then to buy a new Camry in 2006. We had tried two other dealerships in Maine and one in Massachusetts and were very discouraged. A friend suggested we contact Ramzi Karam at Prime because he had been well treated there. Ramzi was fantastic all the way through the process. He was kind enough to actually drive a Prius to our residence for us to have a first hand look. We never at any time felt like we were being 'sold' anything. Rather, he made us feel like we were sharing information that he was generously providing with nothing but our best interests at heart. The important thing is that Ramzi listens and clearly cares. There aren't many salespeople that you can say that about.
