Berto was very helpful in purchasing my first car. He was reccommended to me by my uncle who has purchased several cars for his company from Berto. Overall, Prime Toyota of Saco made the purching of my first car a reality because I thought I would need a co-signer or even a large amount down. I didn't need any of that. Berto even gave me tips on what I could do to improve my credit score. I am very happy with my first car experience and will go back to Berto and Prime of Saco for future purchases...although with my new Toyota Corolla, that probaly won't be for a while. More

This was our first dealing with Prime Toyota Scion and due to the overall experience we will now do all car dealings through this dealership and hopefully through our salesperson named Berto Arroyo. I have been looking for a car for the past three months and have been to four different dealerships and every salesperson i dealt with really did not listen to what i wanted or what i could afford. Most of them gave me the impression that I was being ignored and not listened to because when i would state what i was looking for or what i wanted I was shown something entirely different or out of my range and that is extremely discouraging. Berto was friendly and listened to me and not only did he get me the car i wanted, which I thought was impossible to get due to the other salesmen, but he also stayed within my budget. I felt no pressure at all from Berto, it was my terms and that type of experience will keep us coming to this dealership and to this salesperson. We will also let others know of our wonderful experience. The dealership itself is extremely professional and makes you the customer feel very comfortable. I purchased my car five days ago and i still have the biggest smile ever on my face :). I also want to mention that i got my car loan through my own credit union, so there was some back and forth with them and the dealership, but again i was so very pleased with the outstanding customer service that was given by Berto, he would answer me right away and get what i needed right away for the credit union. There was one day that i think I must have called him at least 10 times or more and every time he had the same freindly tone and was more then happy to assist me, that is outstanding customer service. Originally I had purchased a car from Berlin City Toyota. After purchasing the car I took it to a local shop that I trusted to check out the bumper because it had a few small bumps in it and i wanted to pay After purchasing the car I took it to a local shop that I trusted to check out the bumper because it had a few small bumps in it and i wanted to pay to fix it so the car would look sharp. The car fax had showed that this car had not been in an accident. I quickly learned the car was missing parts of its absorber in the bumper on the drivers side and the total repairs would cost over $1,000. It was clear that the car had been in an accident and was also unsafe to drive. I brought the car back to Berlin City to talk about the safety issues of the car (and considering the car was suppose to be Toyota certified)I spoke to three men who treated me poorly. After a lengthy conversation Berlin City was willing to pay for a new absorber but not a new bumper. I stated that if the car was hit hard enough that the absorber was broken and missing parts that the bumper was obviously spent. Then they agreed to fix the bumper as well. Due to the unprofessional experience I had with this issue after only about 2 days of owning the car I returned it. During this time period Prime Toyota in Saco contacted me to tell me they had they type of car I was looking for. I had originally contacted them through Car gurus before buying the original car at Berlin City. I spoke with Jeff on the phone who was more than helpful and incredibly informative. We made arrangements for me to come see the car the following day. I showed up early the next day and had confused him with Jesse but was then introduced to Berto who helped me with the car. It was clear that the car salesmen were competitive and I felt badly for confusing Jeff with Jesse but at this point I just wanted a safe nice car. Prime Toyota in Saco was a wonderful dealership and was very professional. Berto called a few days after my purchasing the car just to check in and make sure I was happy with my new ride :) Prime Toyota was also patient with me to get a bankers check from my bank during bank hours and didn't pressure or rush me. Berto was wonderful and incredible kind without being TOO friendly like often most car salesmen can be. They were also very understanding of my financial situation and held the car I wanted with no money down until the following week when i was ready to make a purchase. Prime Toyota is the real deal. There business appears to be doing very well, and I credit it to there customer service and reliable cars. I look forward to being in touch with them as my new dealership. This would be the third vehicle my husband and I have purchased in three years from Prime. We unfortunately had to replace our truck that had been totaled in an accident. We'd worked with Berto last year when we needed to buy a car and there was no question or hesitation in our minds. He worked with us to get us the monthly payment we needed, and got us the truck that my husband REALLY wanted. The one thing I was REALLY impressed with, and I am sorry to say that I do not remember his name, but the gentleman who helped us work out our financial information was really great. He figured out that we had not cancelled our warranty for the original truck and was able to get us back some money. It would have never occurred to me to do this, and I was pleased that he had the forethought to check it out. I have recommended Prime to several of my friends, two of which bought their cars there, and I will continue to do so. I'm sure in a few years when we are ready to upgrade our car, we'll be heading on over to Prime again! More
