Svc. a 3 was because after a very pleasant information gathering and final decision regarding the car, delivery was two hours earlier in the day than I expected and I had to leave work early to avoid keeping the driver waiting (though he couldn't have been more pleasant about it). Unfortunately, they had spelled my town wrong on every document even though I'd corrected it on the faxed copy earlier. The driver promised quick correction and that they would overnight the document necessary to register the car the next business day - which didn't happen. I phoned the dealership twice, and I finally got the document two weeks from when the car was delivered and rushed to the DMV and inspection station with one day to spare on the temporary registration. After not having bought a car in 12 years, and taking a chance on a dealership a state away, this was pretty stressful! The car is awesome but follow-through in my case lacking! More
I am a USAA member and utilized their website "shop for a new car" service (which is run by Zag). I was a little hesitant as this was my first time trying this web-shopping service and I wasn't expecting muc new car" service (which is run by Zag). I was a little hesitant as this was my first time trying this web-shopping service and I wasn't expecting much. However, the process worked perfectly including providing a pre-negotiated price (in relation to dealer invoice) with Manchester Subaru, a preferred dealer in the Zag system. The system provided the dealer details to me and provided my contact info to the dealer. Jack Berkowitz of Manchester Subaru called me within 30 minutes and was anxious to help in whatever fashion I needed. After setting up an appointment to see Jack, I was still a bit reluctant as I didn't trust that, like most car dealers I have dealt with in my 56 years, there wouldn't be a hard-sell regardless of what I had been led to believe. However, once I arrived at the dealership it was the most pleasant car-buying experience that I've ever had. Since this car was for my 18 year old son, Jack took us around their lot to describe the different versions of the Impreza and then gave us the keys for a new unit and told us to "take it out and see how performs". No pressure, no hassle, just a great experience that made me feel like he was really on my side in the entire process. I came away with a great respect both for the product and the salesman and will definitely visit them again when my youngest son (now 16) needs his first set of wheels. I honestly don't have even a single issue to complain about and recommend them very highly. More
The purchasing experience was pleasant at the dealership. The sales associate I was working with guided me through the process and did not put excessive sales pressure to force me to buy the car. I did not have to haggle for a price for I was part of the Subaru VIP program and had my own financing. Steve even included a free front license plate mount with the deal. I have not yet brought in my car for service so I cannot write a review on that part of the dealership. Overall I had a great experience at Manchester Subaru and will definitely consider purchasing from that dealership in the future. More
I had an excellent experience. It was quick, and enjoyable. A lot of trust and responsibility was given to me despite my young age (23), and that I was most appreciative of. Couldn't be easier to buy a car. Drove a couple vehicles, then straight to the point negotiating a price. No B.S. at all. They gave me fair trade-in price for my old car, too. It was a busy Saturday but we were greeting and helped within a few minutes. Everything went great, but they forgot to top off the car we bought which was not a big deal. I have been going to Manchester Subaru for a few years. Their service department is great and they will do whatever they need in order to satisfy their customer. I just purchased a 2011 Subaru Legacy from Their service department is great and they will do whatever they need in order to satisfy their customer. I just purchased a 2011 Subaru Legacy from Steve Applebee. He was great and made the process very easy. He was not at the dealership the day I picked the car up but he informed me before hand that he would not be there and made sure that I understood the material. He called me at home a couple of days later to check in and be sure that everything was OK....Now, I call that service!!!! More

We've been looking for a used Impreza for my teen-agers first car. Have gone to several places, found nothing we liked. Found an 2006 Impreza at Manchester Subaru and even though it was more money than m first car. Have gone to several places, found nothing we liked. Found an 2006 Impreza at Manchester Subaru and even though it was more money than my son had in his budget, Manchester gave us a GREAT price and did everything we asked of them with the deal. This is our 4th Subie and because of the volume that this dealership does, they are able to negotiate more than other dealers. More
Steve went above and beyond our expectations for helping us buy our new car. He worked with our schedule and even though he was very busy, we never felt rushed or pushed aside. We really appreciated his taking his time to explain the vehicle and its features as well as car pricing in general. We bought our first Subaru from Xan in 2006 and we had such a great experience then that it never crossed our mind to go anywhere else when we were buying our second Subaru. Steve confirmed that Manchester Subaru is a great dealership. One of our concerns as women is that car salesman do not respect us. With both cars we bought at Manchester we were always treated kindly and respectfully. Steve also went out of his way to facilitate our getting the title sooner than typically sent because of circumstances that arose to make it difficult for us to get our title at a later date in Vermont. I should mention that we have a Subaru dealership within 2 miles of our home in Vermont, but we choose to drive over an hour to Manchester because the service and prices are that good. We would recommend Manchester Subaru to everyone. We also feel fortunate to have worked with Steve because he really did go above and beyond to help us, even after we already bought the car and he really didn't need to get involved. I was very impressed with the attention that he gave us and he made the whole process of buying a car very enjoyable. Thanks, Steve! More
