Manchester Subaru wrote on 7/29/2011 10:44:12 AM: Good morning: I have reviewed your letter and have spoken to the sales consultant that received your call on 7/24. He stated that he asked for confirmation of your phone number to call if there were any changes to the availability which you stated that he did not need it. Unfortunately the vehicle did sell before your arrival. Upon arrival at the dealership the reason why no one knew is due to the fact that the only information we had was a first name. The weekend sales department is very busy and sometimes customers may wait for a few minutes. I apologize for the vehicle being sold before your arrival. We always try to satisfy the vehicle needs of customers but could not in this case. I am glad you found a Subaru and hope you enjoy the vehicle. Any contact information that the salesperson I spoke to on the phone would have retrieved would have been irrelevant as the fact is that I was purposely ignored from the time that I walked in until the time that I walked out. The fact that the car had been sold before I got there was not the issue. More telling is the fact that I had to go to a public forum to get any response from you at all. If you're a female car buyer, either bring a male companion with you or go somewhere else. You'll waste your time at Manchester Subaru.
