I was very fortunate to have James Malone as my sales consultant. Not only did James explain the featues of the car initially but he took the time to review everything again in detail upon delivery. During the buying process we discussed pricing and the trade in but there was never and pressure for me to make a quick decision. This is the second Outback I have purchased at Manchester Subaru in 3 years and I will call James when it is time for my third. More
I had the best car buying experience ever. Most of the talk was done on the phone with Steve. The price I was quoted it was the price I paid. I was approved for a loan right then and there and the whole transaction took less the one hour. Signed a few documents, no hassle, no stress, no pressure. Just for the first time I really enjoyed the whole experience. I said wow! It was totally worth it to come all the way from NYC to Manchester, NH. They had the best selection and the best prices. I would 100% recommend this dealership to anyone. They even give you a full tank of gas. Very rare at these days with high gas prices. More
Dishonest person with poor business ethic. Spoke to us about another customer that had been in. Told us that he (Jack) and his manager would not sell the car to this person because he was (a very bad curs about another customer that had been in. Told us that he (Jack) and his manager would not sell the car to this person because he was (a very bad curse word that I have edited for your publication)My son, husband, and I found that to be completely innappropriate and unprofessional. Not only had Jack "pulled a fast one" on us but we have no idea if the things he told us were correct as he made his decisions (and apparently so did his manager) based on whether or not they liked you. Not selling someone a car just because (admittedly) you don't like them....isn't that discrimination? More
Since the very first oil change I have had nothing but problems with this dealership. I woke up the next day after having my oil changed for the very first time and found that apparently someone didn't kn problems with this dealership. I woke up the next day after having my oil changed for the very first time and found that apparently someone didn't know what they were doing when they changed my oil because there was oil leaking down the length of my drive way. The manager lied to my face and told me it was a defect in the oil plug gasket and that it cause the gasket to break... while telling me all this the mechanic came out and just happened to hear the convo and said the problem was nobody took off the old gasket when they changed the oil. (Got a free oil change...) The second oil change I asked for synthetic and after waiting an hour and told my car was done I found out that they had used regular oil and expected me to wait another hour while they "fixed" the problem. Just today I was told by a lady in your service department that I was wasting my money because in her opinion there was no difference between synthetic and regular oil as far as how many miles you can go before you need an oil change... WOW! The list goes on and on! Well I'm proud to say I finally hit the breaking point and won't be going back to this garage for service or to buy a new car ever again, and I strongly suggest you do the same More

Searched high and low for a used Mitsubishi Eclipse. Finally found one here and traveled from NY to look at it. Jack was friendly, kind, and helpful. No other car dealership would spend the time or effort to help us out. My salesmen, Jack & Todd at Subaru of Manchester, NH, tried every avenue possible to make the deal happen and also make us both happy Subaru owners. We left the dealership that night while the guys did their magic. The next morning we got the happy call that we were approved(within budget)and could come on back and get our brand new 2012 Subaru Impreza. We absolutely love it! I couldn't be more satisfied with the product & great customer service we received during our visits at Manchester Subaru. Thank you Jack & Todd Berkowitz, for all you did for us. A perfect and more importantly, patient, man, Jack was so effective at answering our many questions about the pre-owned inventory. Not wanting to part with our older Subaru because of its reliability, our decision was drawn out and difficult. Jack was unbelievably patient with us and maintained his calm and professional attitude for the three years it took us to make our decision. He never made me feel pressured to buy. He always answered our questions, and more importantly, pointed us towards the correct vehicle. We are so happy with our new pre-owned Forester. As Jack put it, "It was history in the making!!!" After that, our followup service visits have been great. We could not be happier with our decision to purchase this vehicle at your store. More
Great service and great people. Joey LaBranche was available whenever I had a question and our interactions were nothing but pleasant. Additionally, he has called a few times since to check up and see how everything is going (now that's customer service)! Because of the new born baby, we decide to buy a 4WD SUV with good safety reputation. We tried Forester and OB in dealership at MA. We chose OB since it has more cargo room and more back seat room. About 1 month ago, we started to ask price for OB 2.5i premium from several Subaru dealerships in MA. At the same time we started to collect pricing/technical information from internet sources like Edmunds,Outback forum, etc. The prices we got from MA dealerships were ridiculous, I know in MA, regional ad fee is higher, and operation cost is relatively high. But the number shouldn't that high. they are just too greedy. I began to consider some other vehicle makes until one day I got an email from Bob, Manchester. He had my contact through my Truecar inquiry. The price he provide is very close to my bottom line, and this was the first serious price I got from email. I have no experience purchasing car out-of-state. Since there is something unknown in front of me, I prefer buying a car in MA if they can match that price. I called 2 dealers in MA, saying if you match it you will have 2 cars sold today. one sales said he need to as manager and get back to me (I didn't hear from him since). Another sales said where do you get that price, I want to buy cars from them. Apparently, no MA dealer wants my business. I went to Manchester with my friend (he wants an OB also). I found the Manchester web site shows they will beat any dealer price by 250.(I thought it maybe just a trick to attract customer, but worth to try. We soon found it is for real) My friend and I had a good talk with Todd with the lowest price we can find. Amazingly,he did honor the beat after checking our proof of the offer! The discussion is shorter than I predicted and no game. The afterward payment process was much longer than I thought though. It took My wife and I 3 hours to get out the building, and we pay in cash. This this the only reason I didn't give over all experience 5 star. The last step is delivery which is really helpful to MA customers. Manchester provide free delivery service so that you can have your car at home before you process registration at DMV. Steve delivered our Subie 12 hours after our purchase, and he refused the tip. Based on my current experience, everything they posted on the website are verified. I strongly recommend buying a Subaru from Manchester. More
